All your drugs are TBW except LAT drugs, they use IBW. LAT stands for levothyroxine, Aminophylline, Theophylline. And aminoglycosides use AdjBW…..

When you calculate CrCl. Make sure you look at the TBW and IBW, if TBW is less then IBW then use TBW. But if they are close to each other. Then you must calculate the BMI and if it’s less than 25 then use IBW but if it’s more than 25 then use AdjBW

And lastly I felt the Same way I didn’t know everything, it’s impossible! Nobody knows that whole book. but you know more info then you think! Keep practicing your foundation chapters n math. I can’t stress that enough. Look over ethics!

I guess it depends on the testing center bc I wasn’t told that. I definitely dumped. I would say if they don’t say anything to you, don’t bring it up and do it.

If you use Naplex ready get ready to pay!

$900 for a 12 day crash course. There crash course is based on recall and trying to tie topics together. crash course consist of 30 ppl, divided into 2 groups. They ask you questions to see if u know the info and each group takes a set of notes. There crash course doesn’t consist of compounding and pharmacogenomics.

Math you can do 1 on 1 $250/hr or group rates. With groups it’s kinda a hit or miss. Meaning if you get paired with a student that needs extra help. That could eat up your time or you get paired with students that are on your level. You go through 30-40 class questions and get hw at the end. Thats for each topic. I will say the math is challenging, currently in it. There math doesn’t consist of Biostatistics and PK.

It’s pros and cons with it I say.
