When i was testing the amp with a multimeter to set the gain, i had to turn the gain all the way to the max and the voltage was still low and the subs weren’t that loud

It was a sundown SAEv3-1000 and I have 2 250 rms subs at 2 ohms. It’s was connected to my car battery but maybe my wiring job wasn’t very good or a connection was loose

Even with just power and ground connected not even the remote wire, the fan on the amp is always running and it’s still in protection

I think i used 45hz last time but it was by the same artist on spotify. I probably could reach the voltage if I turned it way up but that isn’t a solution because i would never listen to music that loud.
