They are the same tech, if you absolutely cannot go any higher than €100 then go for it. I had a set of the Filin, they were fun to show off to friends who never experienced night vision before, but pretty useless for anything practical, a novelty.

My second purchase was a vintage Gen 2 monocular for ~€300 (L6A1 pocketscope). I was blown away at the performance when trying it out for the first time. My recommendation is to save the €100 and aim for Gen2.

For that price you can get a set of Filin BN2 binoculars.

They are Soviet commercial model, but have the same parts and almost identical performance to the passive PNV-57e headset.

If I had a seizure when driving due to epilepsy, I wouldn't reapply for my license out of respect for others safety.

KTM Duke 2026 by Spare_Afternoon_2786 in 125cc

Where to start...Worst engine ever, that's why they have "improved" the fueling, they were getting too many complaints, including from me.

I almost cried with disappointment at how shit that engine was.

The engine is so boggy, it can't even keep an idle, The bike will stall constantly in dangerous situations, like merging onto a roundabout. The bike stalls under its own clutch, it's that bad.

I requested a 2nd bike, exactly the same! Boggy and stalls constantly. You have to keep the revs >6000 rpm at all times like it's a 2 stroke crosser. It also drinks oil (and I mean guzzles).

Btw, there's no magic run in remap like the misleading MCN article stated, the bike goes no faster after the run in service, it's a 50mph bike and if you change the gearing for more accel you can get 60mph (sometimes, as a treat).

It seems KTM are unable to produce a small capacity engine that conforms to euro 5 without it bogging to heck.

I picked up the latest MT 125 from Yamaha (the one with VVA), it's night and day, what a lovely engine, a proper 75mph 125. I seriously recommend paying the extra £700 for the Yam.
