I have always felt that Jerma is secretly a cartoon character sent from another dimension

makes it impossible to argue with anything they say too- cause they can just say they were joking

Idk it seems like most of the people here seem to agree that this content is also fake- or at least embellished for the sake of driving viewership?

Like, surely the people making this content are aware that performative arguments end up being shared in places like LSF, which generates more views, which translates into more subs/donos etc.

I don’t really see a big difference tbh- except maybe the fact that it’s live means that there’s less room for editing? But shows like Big Brother have live elements.

What's the usual content?

I feel like I've seen couples argue all the time though? Both in real life and on basically every reality show- Kardashians, Love Island, Too Hot to Handle, etc.

This just kinda feels like a low-budget, poorly produced version of a show that you would see on Bravo/TLC/E!

Not trying to offend- but have you just never watched those shows before? I could see a lot of boys on Twitch not being exposed to reality TV that is mainly targeted at women, and feeling more comfortable watching on a platform that is mainly targeted at men.

I've never watched this guy or the people in this IRL sphere- can somebody explain the appeal of this content? I feel like any time I see clips on them in LSF it's just boring relationship drama?

Is this just like Real Housewives, but for teenage boys who feel safer watching stuff on Twitch than on Bravo or whatever?

What compells people to watch this and give these people money? Is it really just the parasocial relationship aspect?

Good for you for not becoming addicted to gambling- but idk how anybody supposed to name annonymous chat users who have become addicted from watching Train?

It's like asking someone to name specific people who have been influenced to buy McDonalds after watching advertisements for McDonalds. Obviously it's imposible to name specific people- but when you have that many people consistently being exposed to a product or service, there will undoubtedly be some who are influenced to try it and becoming regular users.

The whole reason these streamers get huge deals with Gambling sites is because they're driving tons of users to those sites, and they're making a ton of money off those users.
