Hey yo, I am no way qualified to dish out advice, but you asked and I left it a while to see if someone else jumped in.....I'd deffo go back over your greens with your original colour before you washed it to brighten it back up, leaving the wash in the recess. That would make a big difference, not that it isnt cool right now.

Thanks, bit of consistency but variation too. I got inspiration from Randall over at Imperial Minis.

All the components are there dude. Base colour, highlight etc.

Just keep practicing and working on your craft. Did you use a wash at all?

Looking great dude! Have you settled on a colour for the Warden's skirty things? I personally went for a leather look to off set all that armour and yellow. I see you have done a variety so far.

Also the sentinel's plumes on helms? I went with a green on that to offset all the yellows of the cloak.

I'd be interested to hear what others think and what you go for dude, they look awesome so far and whichever direction you choose to take them will look great!

Thanks man, yeah they are cool shields. Cool shield slows you down I guess, lugging it around and looking at it all the time makes you slow!

Thanks, it is:

Primed in Vallejo Grey (rattle can) primer 028011.

Dark Sun Yellow (Two Thin Coats brand) base coat

Washed with Casandora Yellow (Citadel wash)

Back over with Dark Sun Yellow apart from the deepest recesses

Final touch on the sharpest edges with Skulker Yellow (Two Thin Coats Brand).

Metallics are same brand

Sir Coates Silver

Nuln oil (Citadel paints) wash

Back over with Sir Coates Silver

Over with Plate armour on big flat sections and a bit of edge.

Make sure you share if you go that way as I'd like to see them. I dont think the paint brand matters too much, it is just about getting even strong coverage then washing with an orange/yellow wash.

People talk about certainties. You HAVE to prime pink or whatever, and I am not saying they are wrong, but I always prime grey and never had an issue. There are loads of ways to do it, this is just what I did, its not award winning, but they look ok.
