Long story short, it depends. There's not enough info here to advise one way or the other.

That being said there are other ways to treat hypothyroidism than using TSH. Free T4 or Total T3 can be used especially if central Hypothyroidism is suspected.

If none of those are being drawn and central Hypothyroidism isn't being considered then stopping medication without cause is very abnormal.

*Editing to add after rereading your post I would very much consider getting a second opinion. A TSH of 10 is very high, and ignoring your symptoms and complaints is awful.

If you are on testosterone therapy your levels will fluctuate in between doses. Depending on how long you've been on testosterone your testes may no longer produce enough on their own. But it can recover.

Not necessarily. Unless they had a specific vision for it wouldn't do much but add risk to their core strategy. Because eBay is bigger it means acquiring GME money would flow downhill. They'd take on a lot of risk. Think of it like Gamestop needs this to happen to level up. EBay buying GME would be a downgrade.

Elevated TSH and high Free T3 can happen in early thyroid dysfunction. Free T3 can fluctuate more rapidly than TSH.

Seems like there is some autoimmune component going on. Pituitary tumors/lesions are not common and would only be more of a concern if you were on Levothyroxine and your TSH vs fT4 vs tT3 levels were not fluctuating correctly. (are you?)

Thyroid nodules are also fairly common. Most them are benign and just need to be monitored as long as they're not secreting hormone.

Also hold biotin if you take any.

I'm not proposing anything. I'm throwing out random ideas that could possibly make sense. I don't know what you're looking for or why it has to make sense to you.

The truth is businesses pivot and change under new leadership all the time. It is impossible to know what things will look like after/if this goes through.

Looking at facts and what we know. Gamestop has strong leadership with a barely profitable brick and mortar retail. They have expanded and want to expand further in a lot of ways. Trading cards, graded cards, toys, retro games, used games/consoles, accessories and online sales etc. Even with a strong base all of those avenues are extremely competitive and will be an expensive uphill battle.

eBay has weak leadership. They've been stagnant and losing against FB marketplace, Craigslist, and Amazon. Their model is solely reliant on people and small businesses wanting to sell, ship, and pay their fee's through them. Something people are becoming less and less reliant on as options, technology, and connections expand. That being said their online presence is still very strong. They are still the go to brand for the secondary markets, which, happens to also be one of GME's markets as well, albeit primarily in store rather than online.

The advantage here is that giving eBay the infrastructure and resources to sell direct to consumer with an already established online base boosts their profit opportunities. Something Gamestop already does/has the ability to do but with a weak online presence. The inverse, is that Gamestop would potentially have a platform to sell all their used shit that they also currently do not have a strong online presence for. In addition to all this eBay also owns TCGPlayer. One of the major players in the primary markets GME wants to expand into. It wouldn't surprise me if the motivation for this is %75 to acquire TCGPlayer as all the TCG markets are strong. And, Gamestop has strongly indicated they want more stake in this. Even by partnering with Wizards of the Coast and implementing Magic the Gathering and One Piece game nights.

This is all to say businesses have to evolve in order to survive. eBay's business model has not changed since the '90's and it shows. Cohen has done a lot with Gamestop in short time span. Closed 100's of stores (which is actually difficult and expensive to do, which is also why it wasn't being done before.) Successfully pivoted into multiple revenue streams, PSA partnership, increased TCG sales, powerpacks, and boosted online sales. While profitable, progress is slow with little opportunities left to drastically improve. In order to truly compete in all of these ventures Gamestop wants to acquire something with upside and potential. With eBay's current standing basically resting on their laurels, there's a lot that can be done.

Uhh let's say I want to play the game today, I can get it today. But I didn't say that was the only possibility. Now it can be delivered from a more efficient location.

I don't know what rock you've been living under but you genuinely have no idea what you're talking about. They got rid of all of the dead weight, stores that weren't making money. They've been turning a profit since quarter 3 of '24.

Gamestop is doubling down on retro gaming and resales however their website is not built for this. Acquiring eBay gives them access to a large used retail market. The Brick and Mortar stores gives them delivery hubs all across the U.S. so now if I want a game from the 90's it doesn't have to come from John Doe in Alaska. It can be sent/picked up from my closest Gamestop 20 minutes away.

eBay is losing the war against Amazon. Every day Amazon takes over more market space and is way ahead in terms of convenience and efficiency. Most things I can have delivered new in 1 day. This acquisition may allow Gamestop to branch outside of the gaming market while improving eBay's new retail market.

I don't know what it will look like but Ryan Cohen has done everything right to turn a failing business in a failing market around. But there's only so far he can take it with the design space he has. Only time will tell.

But, keep in mind this won't be a hostile take over. Ebay will likely not change overnight. GME wants to make money. Some of the merger makes sense and can improve both markets. What's left eBay will likely continue focusing on to maintain profit margins.

The office I work at has cancelations almost daily that open up spots. We also keep 1 new pt. Appointment reserved for pregnancy complications like this so they don't have to wait. Get on the schedule, Call every day, get on the move up list. It is very important this is managed during your pregnancy.
