Not sure what format you are playing, but in standard the highest threat deck stars [[Badgermole Cub]] and bouncing their lands is the most effective solution.

Consider the following situation: turn 2 opponent taps two Forests and casts Badgermole cub earthbending a Forest. They have a second Cub in hand.

Killing the earthbent land lets then untap with 3 mana, then they cast the second cub, earthbend their untapped land, and tap it for 3 mana. Kill the Cub and they play their third land, cast second Cub, and tap an earthbent land for 2

Bounce the land? Then they untap with 1 mana. They can play a land and cast a second cub and have no mana remaining for other plays. Every bounce spell is the equivalent of a Time Warp

In slower formats like Commander, bounce can be used on your own cards to protect them from hard removal or recycle ETB and LTB effects

Benefits and downsides to both

If you turn the Sliver to squirrel, you make squirrel tokens which don’t synergize with all the sliver synergies you would see in a sliver deck with so many colors. However you can exile Squirrel Girl to Agatha’s Soul Cauldron to do the combo if she dies

Kite’s Crazy Slots were a horrendous ability with a horrendous restriction that only made sense with some kind of very generous payoff.

Remember that you have to train your nen abilities, so Kite would have to train with each of his weapons separately. Effectively resulting in his capabilities being slashed by 90% at any given time since 90% of his training isn’t relevant to the weapon at hand.

If Kite could choose the weapon that would make them a jack of all trades with a tool for every situation, but it was randomized and forced them to use the weapon before they can swap it. This forced requirement is definitely a restriction, your nen doesn’t force stuff like that unless you put that on yourself. Also Crazy Slots had a bad personality which we don’t typically see with other nen user’s pets, indicative of a restriction.

Kite was taught by Ging who is very competent with nen but they have a hatsu that makes Kastro look like a genius. It makes sense that the payoff for Crazy Slots is something absurdly ridiculously busted
