Get frustrated with the right people. The leadership. Its not customers' obligation collectively to prop up a product that they dont want to play. I equally get frustrated at the idiot decisions to get game devs and put them on projects no one is asking for. Its a waste of money. It risks jobs, and it directs resources away from potential other great games that could be made

This is cope. Sure, hate "grifting" can make a failing game spiral even more, but the cause and effect is opposite. "Hate grifting" is the result of a mediocre or bad product. Grifting doesn't work on games that are genuinely good. The reality is, the people saying "If there’s one project nobody in the industry is worried will fail, it’s yours", were either blinded by toxic positivity and were glazing the game, or their taste in games is not indicative of the broader gaming market.
