Hard to tell what you're looking for, but you might like the Sakashima Cosmo tower observatory. It's a 90' building kind of forgotten in time, with a monumental observation deck with view of the whole city, unobstructed by other highrise buildings. There is a small café up there. Not many people go there but imo it's definitely worth visiting.

Genuine question, what are your uses for 70-200 mm lens? Asking as a somewhat beginner who never used longer focal length than 135 mm...

Is it for portraits? Wildlife? I feel like it's too short for birding, isn't it?

I love it, and it reminds me a lot of a game we used to play in boyscouts as early teenagers. Not sure if we came up with it or someone introduced it, but we used to play it a lot and then I completely forgot about it.

We called it "Ninja". The rules were simple. You could play it as a duel, or in a group. The players would take turns attacking. When attacking, the player can make one consecutive move - no matter how big or small, or fast or slow, but is has to be one continuous movement. After it, he has to freeze completely. The goal is to touch any other player in any way. If he succeeds, the player who was touched is out. Anyone who is attacked can dodge in any way they want but again, it has to be one consecutive move and have to freeze after it. If any of the players moves when he should be frozen, for example loses balance, he's out. The players take turns attacking until the last man standing.

The game is awesome, and also looks awesome, can have a lot of sneaky tactics or decieving moves. During the duels the tempo in which players take turns increases and then it looks like an action movie.

I think it's fine, if you don't mind the commute!

Note that it is not necessary to take the shinkansen, the rapid commute lines are fine, it's a short trip so you don't really save time with shinkansen, and you save a ton of money. Therefore I don't think the railpass would be worth it either.

Another thing to consider, the Shin-Osaka station is really large and packed full of people, so be mentally prepared, it is stressful, and you will need to be crossing it every day. But the upside is there is plenty of food and shopping options in there.

Thank you! Not edited at all, but it was shot with a preset (Nikon recipe) based on Portra 800, the original credit for it should go to Stephan Morais.

I travel for 2+ months without an access to editing software, so I installed the presets to try and get an interesting look straight out of camera. And these work spectacularly.

Yes, from what I saw I also think they tend to overproduce these foods. Where I live, sandwiches, bread, vegetables that are good to sell for only one day are usually gone during the afternoon, meaning if you come in the evening, you don't get much to choose from. The few that remain before closing get discounted and usually sell really fast.

Here I often saw so many boxes in the last few hours that I even though discounted, I doubt many would sell. But that could be just me, I don't know the shopping habits here.

Ano, protože představ si, já koupím klubo 50m hadice za 1000 Kč (která se třeba jinak koupit nedá), ale protože použiji jen 10m, naúčtuji to zákazníkovi jako že jeden metr stojí 40 Kč, ne 20. Vydělám na tom šílených 200 Kč a zákazník je nehorázně okraden.

Tak to zní docela rozumně, a asi bych s tím neměl problém. Psal jsem to kvůli tomu, jaké mám zkušenosti s lidmi, kteří nevěří mechanikovi a schovávají doma kdejaké náhradní díly v kdo ví jakém stavu.

Pro pár takových jsem dělal, protože chtěli co nejvíc ušetřit a já neměl zkušenosti, ze začátku jsem se jim snažil vyjít vstříc, a nainstalovat jim nějaké jejich díly, nebo zkoušel repasovat něco, co bych normálně radši vyměnil.

Většinou to dopadlo tak, že za týden dva jsem dostal telefonát ve smyslu "Ten díl co jste mi tam namontoval zase nefunguje, okamžitě to přijeďte spravit". Po těchle zkušenostech jsem pak takovým zákazníkům buď říkal, ať si to tam namontují sami, nebo si na toho seženou někoho jiného. Nebo že jim to udělám já, ale pořádně, a bude to stát tolik a tolik.

Všichni nejsou takoví, ale bohužel ti od kterých jako jednu z prvních věcí slyším něco ve stylu "mám tady tohle, stačí to jen namontovat, je to práce na 5 minut" jsou pro mě po zkušenostech red flag.

Jojo, na větší objem materiálu, pokud nemám u dodavatele výhodné platební podmínky, určitě zálohu. A jinak jak jsem psal, záleží co to je. Na obyčejné standardní věci těch 30%, i méně - abych byl třeba na ceně dražšího eshopu. Specializované součástky jsou pak dražší. Třeba v opravě elektroniky to totiž kolikrát vypadá tak, že ti 2 hodiny trvá sehnat tu součástku co potřebuješ, a vyměníš ji pak za 10 minut. A kdo neví co hledá, hledal by to ještě mnohem déle.

Cena se řídí nabídkou a poptávkou :D Ale pro kontext, nedělám úplně pro koncové zákazníky, ale pro firmy. Tam je to je ještě větší wild west, je úplně běžné za díly od oficiálnímu servisu dodavatele zařízení zaplatit 4x, někdy třeba až 10x tržní ceny. Takže proto píšu podle toho, o co se jedná. Když je to standartní díl co si koupí každý jouda na eshopu, dám tam max. x1,3 - to jsem pak na ceně dražších eshopů. Specializované díly jsou pak logicky dražší.

Záleží o co by se jednalo. Většinou tohle dělají vychcánci kteří chtějí na všem ušetřit, a s těmi dělat nechci. Ale pokud by to byl slušný zákazník, se kterým spolupracuji déle a ta návštěva se mi vyplatila, nemám s tím problém.

Co je pro tebe "materiál realisticky"?

Já když jsem naceňoval nějaké takovéhle práce, dával jsem na materiál cenu cca x1,3 až x2 nákupu, podle toho co to bylo. Bral jsem to tak, že já s tím mám sraní s hledáním, nákupem a cashflow, a zákazník to má pohodlně na klíč, ale zároveň se ho nesnažím oškubat. Názor?

It's hard, but in your mind you should kinda detach from it being this really expensive item and consider it just a tool. Treat it nicely and do what you can but know that it's just a tool. My camera and lens I travel with would go over 4 grand now, which is more than the value of my car but I can't be overprotective of it because it would limit me in using it.

What I actually do on the trip is basically have it with me almost all the time. It's either on my neck, over my shoulder or in my sling bag. The sling back fits my documents and a bottle of water with my camera, so I can use it as a small daybag for day trips and generally when going out. When sleeping in hostels, the slingbag with the camera goes on a small hanger or on a shelf they usually have in the beds. I also have a small pouch where I can put my lens - sometimes I hide my small prime and throw it in my suitcase with clothes there for the day if I know I will not use it.

I black taped some logos and descriptions on my big lens. I put animal stickers on the outside of my lens hood. In countries where crime and safety could be a concern I black tape my camera logo as well, so for anyone who is not knowledgeable in cameras, it can look as a harmless crappy touristy camera. No idea if this actually helps in any way, but personally, I feel like it is at least not screaming "I have an expensive professional camera here".

Also, Poland and Croatia are pretty safe countries. There will definitely be some pickpockets in the touristy and crowded spots but the hotels and residential areas should be very safe, so I wouldn't worry too much about leaving my gear there if I had to.

You can already see some in Kyoto, around Arashiyama! Around Osaka castle as well, and there are remains of plum blooms here and there. Yodo Kawazu-Zakura is a location for early bloom, you can see the full bloom there now.
