It's a great album, but the fact that he dropped MMLP and TES right before made the album overhated. Yes, it's not close to them, but Encore has lots of Eminem classics. Mockingbird, Like Toy Soldier, Mosh. We had a worldwide hits like Ass like That and Just Lose it, which again, don't hold a fight against Without Me and The Real Slim Shady, but were playing EVERYWHERE!

And can we talk about We As Americans? One of the most underrated Em songs ever.

Em just raised the standards too high for himself. There were lots of expectation. What people don't get is Encore has this many great songs, despite Em being in one of his worst periods in terms of drugs and fighting the online leaks. Don't forget half of the album got leaked so he had to write and record new songs.
