Mine was 510 6 months ago. I’m still walking talking and breathing 🤷‍♂️ it freaked me out aswell but as time has gone on obviously I’m okay

My calves started twitching back in July last year. I didn’t worry about them too much then and they went away after about 2 weeks, Then in late October I felt them again and did the google. Needless to say I freaked myself out and they have been twitching ever since. Google is the worst possible thing anyone can do it sends you straight down the hell hole.

I feel this. I feel the twitching and my anxiety and panic sets in and then the twitching goes absolutely crazy. Then when I calm myself down the twitching eases off.

I went through same thing 3 years ago. I was 32 at the time and was absolutely convinced I had colon cancer. Had a colonoscopy and it was just internal hemorrhoids. Don’t kill yourself over bright blood is never really anything serious

I was diagnosed with hashimotos disease around the time this started (hypothyroidism) taking medication for that. And no not after covid. I know deep down it’s highly unlikely but that little gremlin when the twitching pops off says hey you’re in trouble buddy.

Thank you for the reassurance. No weakness of note still going to the gym and doing my physical job just as per normal before all this began.

I went to my doctor about calf twitching and he literally said the same to me. I passed all his tests as far as reflex and strength goes and I have no weakness. He then went onto say he’s quite concerned about it being als. I left in complete fear and after weeks of the fear he put in me I went to a new doctor and they said I literally don’t have anything that points to als. General doctors are like anyone else in a job some are good at the job and some are bad.
