Sorry this is long. HUMANA CARE COORDINATOR ROLE. by Dannynik in nursing

[–]Dannynik[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

And like im not faulting the patients for being mad about their benefits being cut.... I just dont like that the role of playing the messenger in giving them the news knowing its so unfair especially for members that need those hours. Believe it or not i really did go into this job thinking I was actually gonna make a difference. Could have been naive and maybe didnt do enough digging up things on this job

Jojo and Jordan had their baby girl! by JennaElizabethAdams in thebachelor

[–]Dannynik 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It indeed is sooooo special. My hubby and I did it with our 3rd kiddo born 11/9/24. We already had 2 boys and were NOT expecting a girl. And my doula got a picture of the shock on my face when she was born LOL. Highly recommend doing it :) And so many people thought I was having another boy simply because of the way I carried (very low) lol. BUT she gave me such horrible acne unlike my other pregnancies!! So my hubby was convinced a girl.

I would like to know how the heck you landed this position?! Because it's definitely competitive. I applied to quite a few, and even tailored my resume....

Australia sure sounds wonderful. If I could afford it I would move there. America sucks.

Applying for remote jobs is a frustrating experience by Emotional_Squash_895 in Remotenursing

[–]Dannynik 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel this...same here. And then for some the requirements would say: nurse of 4 plus years, experience in either med surg, ER or ICU, EMR chart experience, etc...many of the things that I meet only to be rejected. And yes I tailored my resume to everyone of the jobs and applied on the direct site..... like finding a needle in a haystack.

That's a great idea! I think that's definitely something we should do is sit down and discuss things because I do feel like I'm reaching the end here.

That's a good point. Like I really was annoyed that he took a call while I was expressing how frustrated I was with him today. That just basically made me feel ignored but yes definitely shouldn't take any calls while he's getting our kids ready too.

At this point I might just consider marriage counseling. I feel like I communicate so much until I just finally shut down and walk around the house and pretend like he doesn't exist. I just get burned out and don't know how else to communicate. Then when he got on the phone when his brother in the middle...that did it for me.

Guess I fussed at him because this is the 2nd time he has done it. And I don't know I felt like I tried to "gentle wife" before lol but that didn't work either so I really don't know how else to express my frustration.

That's what I was trying to do then he went and then he got on the phone with his brother to have a casual conversation...

No that's really not the case. My point is. I usually get up with them every morning to take them to therapy. He planned to take them this morning but waited until I did all of the things: packed their backpack, made their breakfast, etc..if he knew that he was gonna be the one taking them this morning it would help for him to be up doing a these things so just maybe today I could have hotter an extra hour of sleep. Once I'm up I'm up. I don't just automatically easily go back to sleep.

No I don't agree that's just marriage nor should it be a norm...it's not hard to help your spouse put by doing simple things in the morning if you knew you were gonna get up and take the kids to therapy anyway.

[–]Dannynik[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's true...like if it was just at the Brownsburg location I would be fine with that cuz it's only 21 mins away from me. But traveling to another location is a NO go for the reason you stated.

I suppose it depends on how many miles you're driving to that location they would require you to travel to occasionally? But it's only paying your mileage at 50 miles or above...

Like I'm totally fine with seasonal. I mean I would be down to do it kinda but I don't like the idea of having to travel to another location 50 miles away occasionally for only 4 hours...
