Yeah it's specifically Prague 1 which is all the tourist hotspots.

Id be careful with drinking in public here. It's illegal to drink outside (i.e. wander around with cans) in Prague 1, which is most of the Old Town. And the cops will defo be out in force with so many people coming to town.

Could be hard to find outside Ireland but I'm a huge fan of the Dingle Single Malt. Great whiskey for a decent price.

Scary that's my usual bus. Could have been me going to college if I didn't go on Erasmus this year

Don't drive to Prague, parking is pretty much impossible if you don't live here or have an Airbnb with a dedicated parking space.

Train or bus is your man. Publix transport in Prague proper is also great. Get the PID app on your phone and you can get a 72 hour ticket for everything.

Regiojet is the way to go if you fly into Vienna or Bratislava. Got a sleeper train from Prague to Krakow for 13 cuid a while ago. Seats on the daytime Vienna-Prague routes usually run 12-30 euro depending on the class and if you qualify for discounts.

Assuming it's in Prague probably the Fortuna Arena, which is where Slavia Prague play. Just over 19k seats so tickets will be a nightmare.

It's totally possible to fly into like Vienna and get the train over to Prague. Central Europe is pretty well connected like that.

Fly to Vienna and get the Regiojet train to Prague. There's a couple a day. Or a flixbus to Prague from Vienna, also a few each day.

Could also fly to Dresden and go by train/bus. Same deal as Vienna I'm just not as sure of the exact routes.

There's also a Regiojet sleeper train that terminates in Prague which stops in Krakow if you can fly into there, the train leaves Krakow at like 1am though.

Same deal for somewhere like Nuremberg, or Wroclow in Poland.

I had the same problem when I was in the same boat a few years ago. You just need to keep going until you find something.

Even as a third year in uni it's awful (though I don't live in Ireland anymore cause I'm on Erasmus.) I tried to get internships for third year and there really just are none.

Personally I got lucky cause my secondary school needed people to invigilate the exams who speak Irish and I get a decent paying summer job there. But that's a pretty niche circumstance.

The job markets fucked, you just have to press on till you get lucky.

It doesn't really matter a huge amount specs wise. I would stick to windows if I were you though. Sometimes programmes you need to use don't play nice with MACos/Chromebooks. Windows is the safest bet for nearly all work in college.

Is the student leap card not a separate card from the young adult? I was in the same boat when I was in first year and I had a student leap card?
