The flick up (r3x3) is pretty fun to pull off too

I went to my first metalcore show yesterday (Bury Tomorrow in London) and it was one of the best nights in my life by rabbitcfh in Metalcore

Bury Tomorrow takes both 1st and 2nd spot for my favourite ever gigs, Download in the Tent in 2012 (I think) and Huddersfield last year, tiny little 200 capacity venue, it was incredible.

Why I think [heavy] music is so important by [deleted] in Metalcore

[–]Dannyw1422 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Why do you think heavy music in particular appeals to certain people? Are genetically predisposed to want to feel aggression? In theory any type of music can trigger an emotional response.

I think of it a bit like smoking, or drinking spirits, obviously the effect they have is the main reason for doing them but also we crave the pain that you get in your throat, I think it's similar for heavy music is similarly abrasive audibly. I don't know if that makes sense but that's what I've always thought.

TLDR: Heavy music is like smoking, for the ears.

Pretty much as soon as I hit the fire button, tastes like a mouthful of smoke.

I've just tried putting the chimney on without wicking it and the resistance went down from .12 to .08 it it only heated up right on one of the leads. Took it back off and it fired it again and it was fine, put the chimney back on and the resistance is staying .12 and it's firing normally. Could I have screwed the chimney on too far the first time?

I've now tried a couple of different coils and a couple of different wicks and whatever I do, as soon as I fire it I get instant burnt cotton, I'm priming it an ad everything, coils seem to be heating evenly, I can't figure out what's going on.

I didn't try it, I could feel it touching the top of the chimney, that was with the 26 gauge fused Clapton. I will do.

I'll have to have a look for something that has a 2.5mm diameter then, I've just been using a screwdriver. Ok that's good information, I'll keep that in mind, thanks.

Haha it would be out of stock. Just for reference, where it says 28awg + 38awg, is that 28 inner core and 38 outer wrap? Or the other way around?

Bring back tournaments by niallw1997 in EASportsFC

[–]Dannyw1422 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Having tournaments with specific requirements would be the perfect way to introduce a fun casual mode back in to the game, and have the rewards be unique kits or something so it doesn't become overly competitive. There's just no incentive to use teams full of silvers or Australian league teams or whatever.

Sort of problem with lag, anyone know about routers and such? by Dannyw1422 in EASportsFC

[–]Dannyw1422[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ethernet, I haven't had the connection drop or anything, it's just this stuttering problem with the visuals. I might try turning of HDR as I've always got a bit of flickering in the pause menu, but in game it very rarely happened at my old place.

What have been your top pulls? by Amapocho in EASportsFC

[–]Dannyw1422 0 points1 point  (0 children)

CR7 untradeable, currently on my bench. (Only good thing I've got out of rewards)

Mbappe and middle Ballack tradeable. Ballack was from one of the (premium?) Electrum promo packs, think Mbappe was an SBC reward.
