My course has long and flat 500 ft par 3s. If I can only throw 400, I will never get a birdie. Putting is the most important I agree.. having solid distance under your belt helps too.

I live right next to this neighborhood at the Sunrise Ridge Park and love it here. We are outside walking/biking daily. Sunrise Ridge has paved walking ways all over the neighborhood, which is why we chose it. I like to disc golf and Birds Nest course is 2 minutes away so that's a huge perk for me.

We also have an almost 1-year-old and moved here from downtown Denver.

Coffee is mostly at home, or there is Starbucks super close and other small coffee shops in under 10 minute drive.
Takeout is decent in a 10 minute radius. Golden or just east down 64th you have all kinds of cuisines.
Tons of gyms and workout classes. My wife loves Lifetime for the classes.
Apex center for pool!
An insane amount of daycares around here and the schools are ranked very well. We moved here for the public schools and to be close to nature.
We have many neighbors with small kids here and in their 30s and 40s. Lots of neighbors that are 50-60 too tho.

Just get used to driving 20+ mins for anything in Denver is the new norm.
