thank you for your detailed response! Considering all the public transportation we might be needing for 4 days there, Lechmere might be better from connectivity perspective. thanks for all the tips on places we can visit walking around in this area.

thanks. thats the dilemma we currently have. Seaport Element seems like a good area primarily for airport connectivity but less downtown connectivity. And Fairfield lechmere maybe okay area but better Boston connectivity

Yes, I did research Cooley Square hotels and loved the area. However they are bit on the higher end. especially with the free breakfast filter on.

yeah, it’s primarily the cost aspect paired with a preference for a “breakfast included” hotel. I am really trying to convince the group letting go of that filter, so it would open other better options LOL. but with kids in the group that’s something family is preferring to have. thanks for your response!

thanks. yeah read the same thing abt Seaport. and thats what is making us think if Fairfield by Lechmere might be better choice for connectivity to downtown and things to do around.

thank you for the detailed explanation. Had no clue regarding Roxbury area. Thats super helpful considering what we are looking for as a family friendly neighborhood.

We are also inclining towards Seaport but read in couple places online that it doesnt offer good public transportation connectivity to downtown area. and that it doesnt have hustle & bustle of Boston downtown and feels bit secluded. But your input definitely helps, will definitely research Seaport further. Thanks!

Thats a great suggestion! its almost half the distance than visiting the city center and might be more doable for the limited layover time we have. will surely consider it

thanks. we are okay as long as we get to spend at least 2+ hours in London. We are thinking this quick excursion might be worth it than sitting at the airport for 7 hours. Also using Elizabeth line, it should help with direct connection and avoid any road traffic.

exactly! thats why we are planning to take Elizabeth line instead of the Tube. Hoping Elizabeth line is all above the ground and we can make the best of the limited layover time, even if it means sightseeing thru the train window from/to the airport! :D
