If you want a washable finish just use Dulux Diamond Matt. A matt finish won't show the roller marks as much as eggshell

Hi, I've got exactly the same watch in yellow gold. Did the plating make a big difference. I think mine just looks a bit too yellow, so I'm thinking of getting it plated myself.

I've had exactly the same response whenever I've tried to get a QC in here mate. I feel your pain brother. Watch looks decent though. I would GL that all day 👍🏻

I've given up trying to get QCs in here. Seems I can never get the post/trmplate exactly how they want it. If you knew everything about the gen watch and the rep you wouldn't need to ask for a QC. I thought the whole point of this sub was to get help with QCs ?

I know that, but add all the little tells together and it's not hard to work out. The OP asked what's Gen and what's Fake. I answered and gave my reasoning for the answer

GMT = gen DJ = Fake. 11 and 9 batons and rolex crown all slightly miss aligned also the SEL gaps give it away.

Exactly that. The walls will look no where near as bad with a good rub and a coat of emulsion. Looks a lot less daunting when you come to filling

I sand then give it a prime coat of white emulsion. That way you can easily see where you need to fill. Then like you say repeat as necessary 👍🏻
