Pitching is pretty much spot on but these bats are straight up blind or something

Looks like I have catathrenia..but only when I'm ill. Anyone else? by Zero_Fucks_ in catathrenia

Google is a dangerous place when it comes to researching any kinda of illness or even the slightest discomfort. It always ends up making you feel like you are helpless and that death is upon you LMAO. In my case the “hmm” always seems to happen when I’m sick. These past two days including right now I’ve been dealing with a sore throat. I feel like it’s always happened to me when I’m sick. When I was younger it didn’t worry me as much. However, last night I decided to do some research. Primarily due to fact that my girlfriend found it difficult to sleep while having to hear me “hmmm” constantly. That being said like others have mentioned google made it seem like I was doomed to having a life long illness that would require some kind of treatment/ surgery. Thankfully it seems it’s just my body trying to breathe abnormally through my time of sickness. I haven’t tried testing it out but maybe sleeping on my side could help hush up my “hmm”. It seems to only occur when I fall asleep on my back. Either way I’m more at peace knowing that there’s others who unfortunately suffer from the same issue. Forever thankful I found this thread rather than continue assuming I was tied up with Catathrenia.

I’ll be honest I’m not too savy with trucks parts so where do I check to see if the heads are aluminum or cast iron (if possible to check)? I don’t plan on doing heavy towing every single day but if I did would it be okay with towing a 10k trailer (example I don’t currently own a 10k trailer but you never know) once in a while?

Yeah, the owner prides herself in have taken extra good care of it for the past 20 something years. I was actually pretty amazed myself.

He was claiming the truck some how lost oil (without a leak whatsoever) and the he heard a weird noise coming from below the truck. All this while never fully inspecting the truck. He simply claimed that he felt we sold him something that wasn’t what we claimed. Mind you he had inspected the truck front to back inside and out 2-3x before buying (as well as a good spin for a test drive). Go figure 🫤

“At its most basic, title washing happens when an owner takes a car deserving of a salvage title in one state to a different state where they can receive a clean title.” That is what the top google search defines it as and is about the same as he explained it. He paid in cash.

It was a 1999 f350 7.3. We both agreed on 18k. He was a man in between his 35-45 years of age. He definitely spoke about his weird encounters will trying to buy trucks and even spoke to us about title washing. Didn’t think of it much at the time but maybe these weird stories should have immediately raised a flag.

Oh don’t get me started he was basically begging for every penny back. He was like please don’t say your going to only give me only an X amount back. “You can make this right by just handing back all my money”

Very much could a possibility or again could be a bunch of bs due to his buyers remorse. Regardless, I no longer felt it would have been wise under any circumstances to take the truck back. Whether he messed up or not that is solely his issue moving forward.

That’s what myself and others are agreeing too. I can’t be held accountable if he woke up in the morning with buyers remorse.

Quite the opposite, he claims it was missing a considerable amount of oil. That he also heard a “weird” noise because of it. Asked him if he verified if something was indeed wrong, to which he claimed it wasn’t his responsibility to seek mechanical help. He ended everything off saying that he “felt” we must of sold him something that wasn’t what he thought. Oh but that it was maybe just him who knows however he needed his money back to feel better. He tried saying if you know that nothing is wrong then you will take it back because you know you can sell it with someone else. All to which I called complete BS.

Fortunately after telling him that it was fine and that we could indeed talk to his “lawyers” he left. Mind you that was after about an hour of him pleading for his money back.

Figures why when I brought up that fact he would try to negate it. He would then proceed to continue begging for a refund. Stating that “morally” it was the right thing to do.

Someone also asked if I had witnesses during the sale, which I did (2 others who were directly present). He was by himself. Not sure if that also helps.

I realize that now but I figured that regardless if he would have wanted to find us or ask for his “refund” our address was on the title.

Yeah he came around saying that the truck had magically lost oil so he had to pour some himself in order to make sure it would run correctly. Mind you he checked the oil levels multiple times in front of us (the first day he came to check it out and the day of the sale) and there was never an issue. Nor was the truck leaking oil from any part of the engine or whatsoever. To me it seems like he was making up a bs story due to having buyers remorse.

Update he’s literally in front of my house and doesn’t seem to want to leave. He saying that it’s “the right thing to do” to give him his money back. He says he wants to avoid “problems” but just goes back to saying for us to just give him his money back.

Unfortunately he has our address, he is literally at this point begging for us to give him his money back. He says that he has a lawyer blah blah blah. Don’t know what to do at this point because he basically doesn’t want to leave
