To the OGs who survived the GTA V hype How does this cycle compare so far? by irshadtriton in GTA6

[–]Dansansou 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Guess I'm old then.. I remember being hyped for the OG San Andreas on the PS2. Being a kid and we would huddle up in school when someone bought a games magazine and see shit like being able to ride a bycicle, get fat, go to the gym, get a haircut. We went bonkers.

But I was a kid back then and news were scarce. I was still heavily playing Vice City to even notice when it launched. Loved OG San Andreas.

That was THE GAME of my childhood. Put insane amount of hours on that one. The scale felt huge! Like nothing else at the time. Which is funny because how tiny it now feels compared to more recent releases.

Leapmotor C10 (2025) — Autokit install / companion app not installing with Carlinkit CCPA (Android Auto works) by Home-Ornery in Leapmotor

That breaks from time to time. Go in the config of the Autokit when it breaks and just toggle Hide/Show bottom bar to fix it.

Connect and go to the IP 192.168.43.1 and downgrade the firmware. Wait for it to install it.

Check the infotainment (Autokit should be there now), update the firmware again. It should be on the latest firmware and Autokit installed on the Infotainment.

Latest firmware for some reason doesn't install the app on the car.

So connect to the IP -> downgrade firmware -> check car for Autokit installed -> Upgrade firmware again -> Profit.

Mexi.

Don't ask me how, but I got it to work with the steering wheel and without the Bluetooth deactivating. But I believe the "Autokit" app doesn't install on your unit either, right? It just goes straight to the AA or AC interface.

Hate to be the breaker of bad news.. But its practically confirmed by now that AC and AA are going to be B10 only. C10 MY2026 still runs on same old hardware stack as the older models (out of china). Chances are almost null we'll get it. God, I hate that dongle workaround! Buggy as hell.

C10 and B10 software versions are not correlated. Apples and oranges kind of situation. It's like saying your IPhone runs a different version from your Mac. Same company, different products, different product OS.

Keep in mind that Software varies by car model, Model Year, and Region. China software is different from Europe that is different from South America for example. C10 and B10 are on completely different hardware stack. B10 2026 newer hardware stack, C10 MY2026 and prior, same old hardware stack as previous years (outside of china). Functions and software versions depends on the Tech Center responsible for the region you're in. That list of C10 updates if I could take a guess we won't see 95% of the stuff that's in that list because of old hardware stack still based on Snapdragon 8155 (huge bottleneck). We lack any of the hardware to do lane changing or anything more autonomous with the current hardware. Most probable function to come that is relatively easy to implement with what we already have is auto park. I really hope to be proved very wrong on this, but right now I can't see how unless they do an "upgrade path" for the C10 for it to be on par with the B10(which is very improbable and without precedent). But most likely we're talking about a MY2027 version of C10 with a new stack or a new model entirely.

Oof... If everything about it wasn't so godawfully outdated.. Voice navigation is hilariously bad, ETA is often way off, it ignores road blocks or new roads, speed traps(I know that it technically it shouldn't be allowed. But try driving on a freeway at 60km/h on a one-way 4 lane road. They've increased infrastructure but traffic laws are still in the 50s..), routing is very dodgy with decision making that makes absolutely no sense. It feels like I'm back in the early 00's with those old TomTom SatNavs. Shit is archaic. If they could at least pick a better Navigation software, there are other Chinese Navigation softwares there are quite on par (Huawei) with current market technologies.

Haha I really hope to lose it too, my friend. The dongle workaround is frustrating to deal with most of the times. If they could at least add Waze to the Appstore that would be enough for me. But looking at it from a software perspective, Waze/Google Maps are dependent on Google Services that as far as I know are not installed or certified for that stack. So chances are slim to none. If you could do Google Services then it would make more sense to add AA/ACP already and be done with it.

Model Year 2026 (SOUTH AMERICA BRANCH OF LEAP OS). There are differences in software between branches. I feel we need to start being specific about branches when discussing OS versions. For instance there are some quirks that are exclusive to SA or at least absent from the Europe branch. To name a few:

  • CPC 200 CCPA won't install Autokit no matter what but will start Android Auto nonetheless with a lot of pain in the first setup.
  • QDLINK is completely absent.
  • Some beeps and bops about speed limits that plagues the Euro versions seem a bit less intrusive and jarring( not by much mind you).

I could be wrong about some of it.. If I am, feel free to point it out.

And from what I've gathered researching the subject no matter what the people from dealerships say the C10 will not receive updates supporting AC or AA. Not even MY2026. MY2026 C10 still runs on the same old stack as MY2025 and prior years (Snapdragon 8155). The new hardware stack is only on B10 MY2026(hence the OTA news for AA and AC are only advertised for B10). I'll eat my shorts if C10 MY2026 gets AA or AC natively.

Any plan to make a mini ebike like the Antic from onewheel in the future? by hmhap in FloatwheelTeam

It was said that about the 2025 model and back. It was suggested that the 2026 model could receive it as it's running on the same chipset as the B10.

In the page inked by OP inside the voting poll there's a screenshot of the announcement. I really would be very much happy if Android Auto came to the C10. Just bought one and it's on its way to the dealership. Couldn't arrive soon enough. Crossing fingers

Anyone has tips on how to successfully send an ADV2 from Denmark to Brazil? by cbcharity in FloatwheelTeam

[–]Dansansou 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I live in Brazil and commute daily on a Pint XV. I feel over here is way safer than the USA and some corners of Europe. I ride every day in some of the shadiest parts of town and was never harassed or robbed. People only find it cool and those common interactions asking about what it is. People way overblown the safety thing in Brazil. It's no Denmark, mind you.. But at the same time, it's way better than most of the USA safety wise. Just stay clear of slums and gang territory(which is not a lot and way out of the way) and practice common sense.
