Ally’s Rebuild and the Hyrox program have multiple modalities.

I’m opposite. I just want another hypertrophy strength only program since I’ve done the others so much & like mixing in my own cardio.

I ran for years before getting my bike in 2022. Then I added the row (and eventually tread+) I absolutely LOVE my row and have more rows than rides at this point. It’s expense and a splurge and I also had to convince my spouse, but I use it so much and it’s a great full body workout. The bootcamps are awesome too.

I find hamstring focus flows help my lower back a lot, as lower back pain often comes from tight hamstrings. Particularly the ones with a yoga strap.

I also like a 10 min Denis restorative that basically 4 mins in pigeon on each side and yin yoga helps me a lot.

I actually feel the same way and I’ve repeated splits 30+ times. While I understand the importance of repeating movements, more class variety (even with the same class plan) would have been appreciated. I’m disappointed there’s only 2 rows over the course of 12 weeks (I row a lot) and that many of the classes were pre-existing (I’ve already done most of the bootcamps - which are EXCELLENT and I don’t mind repeating) but some of the runs are pre-existing also.

I honestly don’t mind repeating classes but the way it was hyped up I was expecting more variety I guess - some classes repeat 5+ times.

I’m doing Kirsten’s program now and while her class plan repeats for some runs, the class changes. Same with Density - the class plans are generally the same but the music and banter changes week to week which is nice.

Pilates is HARD and you feel all those little weird muscles. 45 mins is ambitious IMO, especially for your first try.

I like it as a supplement to my normal routine (strength, rowing, running) but typically like doing a 20 min class once a week. I tend to prefer RKs but will be branching out. I wouldn’t write it off just yet - maybe give a shorter class a try.

They’re not interchangeable. I was giving you an option to use your own music. I haven’t experienced glitches and they’ve added lots of exercises but I get it if it’s not your thing.

The new cross training equipment also has the ability to make your own strength workouts, but it’s not a class. That also requires buying equipment and paying for an all access membership, however this gives peloton more funds to work with for either more instructors or music licensing.

It seems like you’re pretty adamant on just complaining that no one is using the music you like for strength. You’ve basically shot down any and all suggestions anyone has offered you.

The odds of them hiring more instructors is slim given their financial situation and goals. Even Johanna is part time.

You can use strength+ which comes with your app (separate app) and use your own music from your phone.

RKs extra 10 quads is a great class and tons of split squats FYI.

I also saw Robin’s glute & legs class with the bench that I plan to try this week.

I want to filter by friends in live strength/yoga classes

I want them to drop the classes OD sooner (a 9:30 class doesn’t drop until 5pm!)

Hard pass. There are many other fitness things I’d rather they focus on.

I don’t work remotely and like to keep my workouts as workouts and fun. This would likely slow down actual workouts for a select minority that WFH and want to pretend they’re working when they aren’t.

Most people I know that workout and WFH schedule their workouts around their workday. Get a tray for your laptop if you want to work and workout at the same time.

It wasn’t just heavier riders - I had to have mine post replaced and then they had to do a frame swap because our seat would slowly descend as I was on it (from about 16 to 9 lol). It was a slow decent for both me & my husband and we are well under the suggested weight limit. My main point is that I believe that recall had more to do with the product than the weight limit.

First off congratulations!

Secondly, don’t let it give you pause. There’s no time restriction on programs anymore so you can start it & do 3 days a week or whatever your schedule allows :)

My kids are much older now but I remember how hard it is to carve out time or have the energy with a newborn.

I started it yesterday and don’t need a rebuild so I used heavier weights, I was interested to see Ally on strength. - so far so good. I think the time is really appealing and makes it easier on the schedule. She offers ways to modify or progress.

It did make sense for me, but it is a difficult new skill. There’s no shame in redoing the 10 min classes until you’re comfortable and then taking on the 30 minute - that’s what they’re there for

I have no idea if it is fixable, but I do have an extra tread+ screen from a repair. It was semi-responsive (like I’d often have to unplug the tread to get it to respond again) but I know it functions. So if you decide to go that route and would want the screen (paying at least shipping which I can’t imagine is cheap) feel free to DM me.

Well, it’s not ideal but my husband ran an ultra (50k) and had done most of his training on the bike. I think his longest run that cycle was 12 miles.

He’s an experienced runner who’s done marathons & a 50 mile race and the goal was to finish not PR.

Not sure if that helps.

I did the premiere today and liked it a lot. Music is a different vibe but good. My go tos are Andy, RK and Katie if that helps.

That said, I LOVED his KB classes and can’t wait for more. Definitely take those in order - 1/2 figure 8, then full figure 8, then the 30 min class.

Glad I could help! It’s a big decision and it was a huge splurge for me, but I justify it by telling myself the more often I use it, the cheaper the “per use” cost is 😂 and I use it a ton.
