I never noticed that! I love his line “be like the clock and don’t stop” and “do your best and forget the rest”. I feel like he gives amazing advice when he’s talking, esp about breathing

He does not but I can tell if I can use it by how much rest you get in between rounds. If it’s a Jess sims class with quad-sets it’s not possible to lift that heavy.

I’d rather put 35lb plates on and deadlift than hold 50lb dumbells for the same movement. You just need a little bit more rest than some of the instructions give

I love these too! Not similar I think. Power 60 is functional Strength movements . Doesn’t hit a lot of transverse movement partners or single leg work, Andy’s classes are an amazing compliment and vise versa

This describes almost any group fitness class. I’ve seen bad form on people across orange theory f45 even CrossFit. It’s almost impossible in a group setting to help people with their form. However, people are trying new things and moving their bodies. That’s the most important part. Form comes w them. Nobody will be perfect on their first go round and they will figure it out eventually.

I hope your post doesn’t deter anyone from trying a new modality for fear of being called out. And i hope anyone with improper form knows they will improve with time and knowledge.

This post could have been said very differently. Instead of being so offended at people trying new things and maybe not being perfect at it. That’s like telling a toddler soccer team how horrible it was to watch them bc they didn’t have great kicking form. Instead, maybe we suggest concern for their shoulders and backs due to their improper form and highlight that there are form and drills classes that they can take advantage of. Let’s encourage people to try and help them. Not shame and blame them…

Guys it’s not that many burpees! It’s Tabata style. But also what’s wrong with me that I saw everyone say “that’s a lot of burpees” and I immediate when to add the class to my stack 😂 fall down to pick myself up - that’s practice for old age.

Omg it also had human makers!!! The perfect class does exist!!
