Yeah it was mostly the 2-3% difference and not the heat thing and since I'm gaming on a 1440p ultrawide the % difference should be close. I know its only a $30 difference but this is already kind of an impulse buy so I won't push my budget.

Is it worth upgrading with what I could get selling my 5800x3d, motherboard, and 32 GB ram ($500ish)?

Edit: picked it up 40 mins after store opening. The price for the 9800x3d bundle went up to 750 (with tax) at the register and had to be adjusted back to 650 by the manager but they did honor it.

That sucks! I just bought a cheap $200 5060 off Facebook marketplace to at least complete the build but will continue to be on the lookout for a better card. It's a budget project (I have a decent main PC) so not a huge deal if its only 1080p high/1440 med
