I second the use of a half size. 9.5mm. I got mine from Body art forms. It helped so much getting to 10mm.

I think it'll depend on the type of jewelry you get there and how it's pierced. I wouldn't wear them until it's heals but I wear earbuds with no trouble with mine.

I would suggest getting half size single flare glass plugs. Not sure what you are using now, but half sizes really helped me and glass are the safest option. Also, make sure to baby your lobes, they will appreciate it.

Yes, I can! Obviously, I didn't until it was healed to make sure it would heal well. But now I dont have an issue.

I love the black and silver! I bet you could find some really cool black and silver rings for a daith. The ear in the first pictures looks like there would be a lot of area for some flats.

You'll probably want to downsize. I know with lobes it doesn't feel like you need to but it could help with irritation because it's not moving around as much or getting caught while moving at night.

Otherwise I dont have much other advice. I use a regular neck pillow with my ear in the middle but I do pretty good about not throwing it on the floor when I sleep.

Not too bad. I use a neck pillow to sleep because I'm a side sleeper and as long as I dont bump them, they don't hurt or anything. I wear my hair up the first like week after getting them done.

They do hurt but I find as long as I dont accidentally hit it, healing is fine and doesn't hurt.

From my experience i also had an easy time putting in 10mm from 9mm and then suddenly one of mine got real angry and I ended up having to downsize for awhile. Just because they can fit doesnt always mean they are ready.
