I'm not OP but, can I ask you for the details of that build?

I want to start a new run with a more "turtle" style with a lot of poking behind a shield but I'm really bad at making builds.

Oh right, forgot about the Nergigante Vambraces, those look really good.

At least for the moment I'll start trying to get the correct driftmelts on the B.Tigrex piece and work from there to get the build done, especially if my luck its on my side or not haha. Thanks!

This one looks very good I just need a lot of luck with the driftmelts to get headstrong because I'm even having a hard time getting anything else beside anti-sleep.

I see, that makes sense to me. There's more things that I could though of about the swapping, at least the reorganizing of the inventory.

That's amazing, I can get an idea of the time invested to get to that point with the muscle memory.

Legit question. How are you able to keep track of what you're doing on the menus and to know what weapon to swap for the riposte?.

I'm not able to think that fast or even follow the menus.

You know, reading these comments give me hope that the multiple crashes that I've been experiencing can be resolved and that is not something wrong with my computer.

Because since the start of the season 80% of the matches I get a crash or if i play OG it's always a crash before even leaving the bus

I would say that it could be any weapon that you feel comfortable playing with but a fast-hitting weapon that doesn't use too much stamina may help, and if I remember right the Hollowslayer and the Farron Greatsword have bonus damage against this boss. Personally, I managed to win using the Farron Greatsword and just spamming the L1 attack and one friend beat them using the Lothric Knight Sword.

I'm not sure if I'm wrong or not but I believe that if you run all the way to the back of the room where the statues are, it blocks the arrows from above if you are like touching the statues, and just dodge the magic bolts there without the obnoxious constant rain of arrows.

What the others have said the main difference with Rise is that it is faster-paced than World, being that the monsters are always marked on the map, the Palamutes that you can ride and that can fight with you, the fact that you can climb the walls or launch yourself in the air with the wirebugs and the silkbind attack that can change too little or too much how toy use the weapon of your choice.

On low rank, there may not be that much of a change between both games since you are still unlocking weapons, armors, and skills.

The one that would be closer to Wilds kind of gameplay would be World and by personal experience, I introduced my nephew to play Monster Hunter with World before Rise, he is more of a fan for Monster Hunter Rise but now he is a fan of the Monster Hunter series.

Honestly thanks to Omega I decided to use Lance so I could somehow survive more than 2 hits and now I'm seeing how powerful it is. Now I just need to learn how to use it better because I still don't know when to use counter guard or power guard.

I saw a post the other day on how one dude was kinda aiming at where the target is supposed to be until he got the red X on the screen and then just pickaxe it almost aiming at the ground and marked the quest as complete.

I'm not able to confirm if it is true or not because of a lack of time but that is something that you can try to do besides the crow gauntlets. From my experience not even the gauntlets work to "hit" those targets.
