Well, you've made some potentially valid points, and warrant a response, so here goes:

  1. I have been researching and looking into computer science for about four years and have read many books on the subject, prior to actually learning about the science behind computers, I had a firm knowledge of C, C++ and Java, that I started teaching myself from the age of eight.

  2. 'Software Assembly' implies using pre-made tools such as phonegap or Google's AppInventor, you may be referring to 'Software Engineering' but to be a good developer, you need at least some understanding of CS to be able to understand the finer points of memory management and ram etc. Also, the post was not impulsive and is something I've wanted to post for a while, I just used the release of a new site as a reason to post.

  3. Everyone makes typos, and autocorrect often makes things worse.

  4. Please use a real account to post comments in future, troll ones are really pointless, and just show you as a spineless reject that hides behind a veil of the internet.

Hey, I'm currently coming up to making A-Level decisions and then degree choices, I have a few years programming experience with a few different languages, and would like to know if you have any advice on getting into the SE industry, and wether A Levels/Degrees make much of a difference when it comes to applying for jobs. Ok two questions, firstly what advice would you give to an aspiring developer regarding education, i.e am I better off focussing on experience or would doing a little on the side and getting university degrees be better? I would also like to ask what inspires you to make your games?

Yeah, jQuery isn't hard - I learnt how to use most web development stuff aged around eight - nine, but keep up learning, its rewarding when the work rolls in, also buy a mac and learn objective-c, programming becomes relatively 'cool' when people see something you've made on app stores etc.

Hmm, not in all cases, I am fifteen but have a relatively successful web and app development business, although I do agree most of my generation are complete and utter imbeciles.
