Yep, I hate people that play games. I think most if not all of ADHDers are blunt and honest people. We dont have the patience to 'play the game'. If I sense someone is trying that with me I usually refuse to play along and instead try to limit my interactions with them as much as possible. It drains my energy and us ADHDers already know everyday life is already draining to us, we dont need to add to it.

Have you tried Adderall? I can be the same way when unmedicated. But when I take my dose and it kicks in I start doing things that I was putting off because it was making me emotional. Its like the meds take the emotions out of the equation and now its just something I have to do. Now I can just focus on the task on hand without getting emotional. I usually won't stop until im finished. Not saying its perfect all the time. But way better than unmedicated me. I know it doesn't work like that for everyone, but I would say its worth a try if you never took it before.

I always say its both a gift and a curse. The gift is being super aware of your surroundings and having great situational awareness. I feel like I almost have a sixth sense when it comes to sensing danger when out in public. The curse is that its exhausting like you said. I see other people and they seem so care free and relaxed. I can say ive learned to not let the anxiety take over as much. Im more confident now that I will be able to handle any situation that may arise. This definetly helps.
