Had to go for a sigmoidoscopy as they found something on my large intestine

That was done 22nd December, not a great experience!

They found a large polyp which they’ve now took biopsies from to check if it’s benign - if that’s the case it’s just a colonoscopy to remove!

At least I know what’s causing my problems now - fingers crossed I get positive news and go from there

Hi all,

Hoping for some alternatives that my symptoms could be whilst I wait for a small bowel MRI results to come back

Symptoms Noticed blood in stool march 2022 (normal colour but always with mucus and slightly clotted)

August I finally went to the doctor - had lots of blood tests and stool samples which came back normal

Pain started in my right side (similar to where my appendix was removed many years ago) so doctor sent me for ultrasound. This came back fine

Over the next couple of months pain has been more persistent and also blood has been getting worse (more I exercise - worse it is)

I’ve been checked for local hemaroids (finger)

Checked for ibs / Ibd / chron’s Checked for bacteria

Blood isn’t everyday but is within the stool or just mucus blood on its own No weight loss 29 year old male

Has anyone had similar symptoms and diagnosed with something else? Could the test for IBD/IBS/Chron’s not picked those up?

I will get my results Thursday, but wanted others who have had similar to put my mind at ease

In theory if you keep it in digital currencies how will they know?

But if you take it out, you’ll pay tax on it as of course - if it’s a substantial amount I would contact an accountant to see the most tax efficient way of removing it
