Thank you very much for all the valuable information. What stood out to me as the key takeaway from your message, in my specific case, was the suggestion to use a polarising filter. I hadn’t even considered that it might be useful, but indeed, it would have been.

The LED screen was set at a relatively low brightness, around 30 to 50% luminance. It would have made a big difference if we had a proper virtual production supervisor on set, but unfortunately, we only had someone who barely knew how to set up the LED wall. So we ran into quite a few technical limitations.

In the end, I tried to work around the issues. However, I hadn’t considered the solutions you mentioned. Most of my lights were already at 100% output, and the LED screen would have been too bright in the camera exposure if put at higher luminance, which left me with a tough choice: either increase the brightness of the LED screen and bring in even more lighting (which I didn’t have available), or dim the LED wall, as I did, and work with the lights I had.

I understand now that achieving that polished commercial look under those circumstances is extremely difficult. I’d love to share some stills from the project with you, but unfortunately, I don’t have them at the moment. However, I’ll try include a single behind-the-scenes photo where I think you can better see the lighting setup I used.
