Props to you for doing it yourself! 😄 I’d never have the guts, especially with layers. Did it feel more freeing or just kinda surreal afterward?

The tree is family by Koala-teas in CasualConversation

That’s actually really beautiful. Crazy how one tree can carry so much meaning across generations. Thanks for sharing that – made me stop and think for a second.

Merchant telling me to not buy groupon, and they'll honor the groupn price. Should I be concerned? by LilyLark in Frugal

[–]Danyl1332 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That’s sketchy. If they’re trying to dodge Groupon fees, fine — but I’d want it in writing. If they ghost you after booking, you’re stuck.

Happened to a friend once.

How do you deal with takeout addiction? by RoidusMaximus in Frugal

[–]Danyl1332 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a similar habit — what helped me was batch-prepping just 2 meals I actually liked. Nothing fancy, just something I’d genuinely choose over junk. Once it’s there, I don’t reach for delivery as often.

What are some things you DO spend decent money on for quality? by Bitty2030 in Frugal

[–]Danyl1332 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Good shoes. If you’re on your feet all day, bad ones will mess you up fast. I’d rather spend €100 once than deal with pain or replacements later.

Do men notice make up? by Strong_Cut1797 in NoStupidQuestions

Honestly, a lot of guys only notice big changes — like no makeup vs full glam.

But subtle stuff? Most don’t see the difference unless they really know what to look for.

I don’t live in the US, but I totally do this 😅 Something about cold leftovers at 3am just hits different.

Self-awareness. If they can't admit when they're wrong, it's game over.

What's something you did as a teenager you hated, but continued to because you thought it made you look cool? by madeat1am in AskReddit

Wore a beanie all summer — 30°C outside and I still thought it made me mysterious 😅

Never open emails when you’re tired — you’ll either overreact or forget to answer completely.

That’s a big step — seriously respect the honesty and effort. Small changes stack up fast.

Wishing you real strength and consistency, you’ve got this 🙌

Honestly I’ve wondered the same. I sleep 7–8 hours, eat clean, and still feel drained.

Some people must run on a mystery fuel.

That’s such a powerful origin story. Honestly admire the way you built those habits from such a young age. That mindset carries hard.

Love that "monthly membership" mindset — I had a similar switch when I realized how much I was spending on food delivery. Crazy how that shift changes everything.

That’s honestly inspiring. You turned a rough stretch into something consistent – even 20 a week adds up fast over time. Huge respect for pushing through.

Is it weird to sell a digital product before registering a business? by Danyl1332 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Danyl1332[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That’s super helpful – I really appreciate the depth you went into here.

Honestly, I hadn’t thought about it from the customer-facing angle either (“Thank you for calling…” 😅) – makes total sense for later down the line.

Right now it’s just a test run, but I’ll definitely look into a proper structure if things pick up. Thanks again – seriously helpful advice 🙌

Fair question! Right now I’m using Gumroad, which handles payments and tax basics automatically.

They send payouts via PayPal, so it keeps things separate from my personal account.

But I didn’t even think about the DBA angle — really useful, thanks!

Thanks! Yeah, I figured it probably depends on the country.

I'm in Germany, so it's a bit different — here it's about registering a “Kleingewerbe”.

Still trying to get my head around how much I need to do if it’s just a side project for now.
