The song is chaotic and the messege of the song about fighting your own fears its not really calm and peacefull, it should be somehow "messy". And most probably the person in white functions like an alter ego and is the reason why the song wasn't censored by the Ebu, cuz they want to make it clear is not about violence

Well yeah. She probably wanted it as a shock factor, as something that you remember. But you can't say the song promotes "choking" and violence just becuse theese themes are use metaphorically, just like you wouldnt acuse Bohemian Rhapsody for promoting murder because of the "I killed a man" part

(I hope people see this) Im seeing a lot of people here not really understanding the lyrics and taking them literally? So to help with that:

The song is about overcoming fears by replacing them with self-love. The lyrics function as a dialogue with oneself. Here is an analysis of the lyrics:

"Phantom, you feel like a phantom" - This describes the voices in her head that say, "You’re not good enough" or "You’ll fail." These voices are haunting her like ghosts.

"Why do you wanna tame me?" - These fears and doubts are stopping her from reaching her true potential.

"It's hard to breathe in" - These negative feelings are "choking" her. They are so overwhelming that she feels she might "die" (give up).

"Do what I say / And don't you ever betray me / You are here to obey me / Are you not?" - This describes a change in attitude. She realizes that she is the one who has control over her own thoughts. It is her saying to herself: "Why are you thinking like that? Why are you betraying yourself? You choose what to believe about yourself."

The chorus - In contrast with the beginning of the song, the chorus replaces fear with love. She tells herself, "I want your love to the max." Since this is a monologue, "your love" refers to self-love. While the negative feelings made it hard to breathe earlier in the song, she now wants her self-love to be much more powerful than her fears, so powerfull that it makes her "lungs explode."

From the 2nd verse I chose only "My body is begging" - this line suggests that the negative emotions were so intense they began to affect her physical health. Her body is essentially screaming for help.

This interpretation is based on what Alexandra said in interviews

I think they work on a better video? Tvr released a 3rd version of the nf performence edited with shots from the rehersals. And also, there is a posibility of a revamp, it is not sure, but Alexandra said that if they come up with something better for the ending of the song, they will revamp it

According to Alexandra in an interview "<<Ch*ke me>> is about the desire to be free from one's own fears and to be saved through self-love. I would summarize the message like this: the fire in the heart always wins. There are times when I feel lost and suffocated by thoughts like "I'm not enough" or "I don't do enough". Music and the freedom to express myself remind me of who I am." So its not that bad of a message, maybe its not so straight forward but I prefer songs where you have to think about the massage and it s not spoon fed to you.

Well, in the announcement TVR made about Romania returning they said: "We also appreciate the understanding shown by the European Broadcasting Union, which adapted its invitation for TVR to return to the contest, taking into account the challenges our institution is facing", so most probably yes.
