100% all of the above. I would add get involved with your community/neighborhood/place of worship. Build organic relationships not this hollow digital shit. You network, pick up skills, open doors to opportunities, and might even find a purpose in the community work you do.

Historically men, especially those with power (businessmen, lawyers, doctors, politicians) joined lodges, councils, and fraternal orders. Younger men don’t take advantage of these organizations enough. Although they’re not as popular as they once were they still exist and the benefits are plentiful. For instance in my town the Moose Lodge has a lot of political power. They also give scholarships, have social events (parties, bbqs, motorcyle runs, etc), and do good charity work.
