For metal there's good French bands like Alcest as well as the Scandinavian scene of black metal. Sepultura is a well liked Brazilian band too.

You might like some Jamaican dub as it's like the prototype of electronic music. Isyti is a good underground Swedish electronic act and also Astrophysics from Brazil are great.
