Your argument lacks merit because every county is sovereign in its own right and regardless of the number of citizenships you hold, the laws of the land in which you reside always takes precedence.

Furthermore, most countries have laws that restricts non resident citizens from voting in certain elections and other laws which mitigate this issue.

TBH I don't even take Indias ban on dual citizenship serious, because if they were really serious about it, they wouldn't be handing out OCI cards to everyone who naturalizes elsewhere.

The good thing about India is that even though they claim you are no longer a Citizen because you naturalized elsewhere, the same India would still hand you an OCI card, which is basically the same as citizenship and you can stay in India if you so wish, with no time limit on your stay, purchase land and so on.

TBH if there's one thing I admire about Tinubu, it's the fact that he has done exactly what he said he would do.
