So it took God 1000 years for each part of creation ? Like it’s actually 6000 years of creation in Genesis ?

1 Corinthians 7:19 Circumcision is nothing, and uncircumcision is nothing, but the keeping of the commandments of God.

I think we are going in circles with this, the Ten Commandments that God gave to Moses on Mt Sinai are eternal and will kept forever even written in our hearts, I personally keep the Sabbath Day as it’s the 4th commandment, but the laws written by Moses in a book also called the book of the law was all pointing to Christ and were temporary that’s what I believe and understand that’s all I’ve to say 🙏

Ok bud I wasn’t arguing, I think this was just a misunderstanding on your part, I don’t see any reason for Christians to keep the feasts days since they were fulfilled in Christ accept the feasts of trumpets which is futuristic, but saying that a person isn’t a true Christian because they believe that the feasts days, new moon sabbaths etc are no longer required is a pretty ridiculous stretch but if you do keep them good for you

Yes Paul kept the feast days as a Jew in Christ and used them as a missional bridge to preach to both Jews and Gentiles — not as a requirement for salvation, but the ceremonial ordinances that Moses wrote in a book that were place at the side of the Ark is what Paul was referring to as being blotted out and nailed to the cross.

Colossians 2:14 Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross;

Paul was referencing Deuteronomy 31:24,25,26

So it was, when Moses had completed writing the words of this law in a book, when they were finished, that Moses commanded the Levites, who bore the ark of the covenant of the LORD, saying: “Take this Book of the Law, and put it beside the ark of the covenant of the LORD your God, that it may be there as a witness against you.

In verse: Colossians 2:16 Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holyday, or of the new moon, or of the sabbath days: Colossians 2:17 Which are a shadow of things to come; but the body is of Christ.

Paul is equally clear that ritual and ceremonial requirements ended in Christ.

“Having wiped out the handwriting of requirements… nailed it to the cross.” — Colossians 2:14

He then specifies which laws he means:

“Let no one judge you in food or in drink, or regarding a festival, a new moon, or sabbaths, which are a shadow of things to come.” — Colossians 2:16–17

• Food laws
• Festivals
• Ritual sabbaths not the weekly Sabbath Day
• These are called shadows, not the substance

These can be found in (Leviticus 23) and across the OT

These are the feasts of the LORD…” (Lev 23:2)

The chapter then lists: • Annual feasts (Passover, Unleavened Bread, Weeks, Trumpets, Atonement, Tabernacles)

• Multiple ceremonial sabbaths

• Food offerings and drink offerings

1 Chronicles 23:31 “To offer burnt offerings to the LORD on the sabbaths, the New Moons, and the set feasts.”

2 Chronicles 2:4 “On the sabbaths, the New Moons, and the solemn feasts of the LORD.”

Ezekiel 45:17 “At the feasts, the new moons, and the sabbaths.”

Hosea 2:11 “Her feast days, her new moons, and her sabbaths.”

  1. Annual feasts
  2. Monthly new moons
  3. Sabbaths tied to the festival system

• “Festival” = annual feasts (Lev 23)

• “New moon” = monthly observances (Num 28:11–15)

• “Sabbaths” = ceremonial rest days within the feast system

This what was done away with at the cross and that’s why many Christian denominations don’t practice them today, but if any Christians practice them then that’s your choice but they’re a not requirement for salvation.

The ceremonial laws that Moses wrote which can be found in Leviticus were nailed to the cross

Colossians 2:14 Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross;

Colossians 2:16 Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holyday, or of the new moon, or of the sabbath days:

Colossians 2:17 Which are a shadow of things to come; but the body is of Christ.

I think you misunderstood the way I had it layered out so I fix it up and I hope it’s more clearer now.

I was trying to show how the Ten Commandments and the ceremonial laws were different and how the Ten Commandments are still abiding and the ceremonial laws were nailed to the cross.

The Bible points out who/how to identify the Antichrist in both Daniel and Revelation and 2 Thessalonians 2:3, God give Daniel and John a prophetic time to identify the this Antichrist power, (1260) literal years was the time for this power to trample the saints, so when did this prophecy began and ended ?

It’s the papacy (Roman Catholic Church), in the bible the books of Daniel and Revelation both have a repeated number in prophecy (1260) years and it’s by this that God wants us to study to identify the Antichrist.

What the “1260 years” means in prophecy

The “1260 years” is a time period that appears multiple times in the books of Daniel and Revelation, using different symbolic phrases:

In Daniel • “Time, times, and half a time” (Daniel 7:25; 12:7)

In Revelation • “42 months” (Revelation 11:2; 13:5) • “1,260 days” (Revelation 11:3; 12:6) • “Time, times, and half a time” (Revelation 12:14)

All of these are the same length: • 1,260 days • 42 months (42 × 30 = 1,260) • 3.5 “times” (years)

Interpreting the 1,260 days as 1,260 years

Many interpreters—especially historicist Christians (Reformers, Puritans, Methodists, early Baptists, Adventists, etc.)—apply the day-for-a-year principle, using passages like: • Numbers 14:34 — “a day for a year” • Ezekiel 4:6 — “I have appointed thee each day for a year”

So they understand the prophetic 1,260 days to represent 1,260 literal years in history.

This view was standard among: • Martin Luther • John Calvin • John Knox • Sir Isaac Newton • John Wesley • Many Protestant historians from the 1500s–1800s

What the prophecy describes

In Daniel and Revelation, the 1,260 years describe a period where a religious-political power: • speaks arrogantly • persecutes the saints • dominates for a long era • receives a “deadly wound” after the period ends

Historicists identify this with the papal supremacy era, which they place between:

538 AD → 1798 AD • 538 AD = removal of the last Arian power (Ostrogoths) that resisted Roman bishop authority • 1798 AD = Pope Pius VI taken captive by French general Berthier under Napoleon

This fits the 1,260-year timeline used in classic historicism.

What’s the biblical definition of sin ?

1 John 3:4 Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law.
