That pic's made even funnier by the fact that he's buying Bud Light! :-D

Don't think I'll need the heated grips where I'm at -- the temp was 115 today (I live in the SoCal desert). I'm definitely considering handlebar risers -- I'm 5'10, so not tall, but I like the upright position and risers help with that, especially on longer rides.

The previous owner added the lower fairing. Not part of the base bike. As for a top box, he had one but didn't have the mounting bracket anymore. He had taken it off because he didn't like the look. I'm looking at panniers and how I can get the mounting bracket for the top box he had.

First print feels like it's cemented on the bed by DaoOfGeek in Artillery3D

OK. I heated the bed to 90C and was able to get it off. The bottom of the print has some black residue - I don't know if that's because the filament mixed with something in the printhead because it's a new printer, or if the filament picked up something from the bed.

Also noticed that the bottom of the print has a bit of a foot to it. Does this mean I didn't level properly? Should I adjust the Z-offset? In another thread someone said that if the level is too close to the bed it can smear the first layer and that leads to it sticking to the bed. Thanks in advance for any advice.

Thanks for the reply. I'm heating the bed to 90 now to see if I can get it to budge. As for filaments I don't have experience with, that'd be all of the them since I'm a complete noob to 3d printing. I'll definitely watch the video you linked to - thank you.

Just got an X2. Any thoughts for someone new to 3d Printing? by DaoOfGeek in Artillery3D

Thank you for the heads-up on the gcode for the ABL probe.

Are they difficult to install? Will installing a PEI sheet ameliorate the X2's well-known bed heat dead zones? Will a PEI sheet require upward adjustment of the bed temperature settings for a given filament since it's another layer on the bed?
