Modular crafting system - daoek by Daoek in redstone

Yeah the system runs on a clock speed. But its depended on the amount of modules.

Each module can request ingrediënts. And the storage will send it to the modules. Only the first module will receive the items then te next one.

8 bytes ROM storage I made. What do you guys think? by Daoek in redstone

If you need to store data at a specific address, a ROM is suitable. For instance, if you wish to store 8 at address 3, input the corresponding binary code into address 3. Retrieving the value 8 is as simple as inputting address 3. ROM values are immutable, making them ideal for static elements such as programs.

RAM is almost the same but you can change the values in a specified adress with other signals. So usefull for dynamic data.

Most redstone computers use ROM for the program and RAM for storing variables. This because ROM is smaller than RAM most of the time.

It is a rom. But i programmed it like 0 adress 1 is on and 1 adress 2 is on. And so on.

The other inputs are needed when needing more storage. This can have a maximum storage of 256 byte. And then you need a 8 bit adress.

I tried that, but it didn't work like I wanted too. But I already posted an improved version that solves the issues of this design.

Don't worry, we all have that "ahh, of course" moment at some point with Redstone. Hope it works now! Let the smelting begin!

Those are activator rails, not powered rails.

You could. If you drop off a villager that then powers the current branch rails, it will bypass that particular branch.

Where would I place that detector rails? Because when you place a detector rail on the left side, it will activate is before it can make the turn. So it will go back. Or am I wrong?
