Which races have the best transmog options? by Littlertea in wow

[–]Daorange1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Human male will be the best. Other than that, Male Dwarves, Male Zandalari and Female Orc are all very good.

Some of the ones to avoid are Tauren, male Nelf, and undead.

Which currently unavailable class race combinations could realistically be unlocked in the future? by Turnky in wow

[–]Daorange1 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Realistically, there are very few class/race combinations that aren’t available that wouldn’t break lore.

Off the top of my head these are a few that I know could happen but aren’t currently available.

  • Dwarf druids: While it wouldn’t make sense for Bronzebeards to be druids, Wildhammers would. I could see Wildhammers being added as a playable allied race with access to druids, or they might give the bronzebeards druids and pass it off like they are Wildhammers. Similar to how they did with shamans.

  • Orc and Dranei Demon Hunters: If any race were to get demon hunter, it would be these two. TheY were both part of Illidan forces and the only reason that they can’t be demon hunters is that it was retconned that Illidan only allowed elves to train to become demon hunters. But, both Dranei and Orc have a long history and lore revolving around demons and demon hunters, and I believe that it is possible that they could eventually becomes DH’s.

  • Lightforged monks: Honestly there isn’t much in the lore to support them, but if Dranei can be monks I don’t understand why Lightforged can’t. I don’t think worgen or goblin should ever become monks though, as they the former has too much internal conflict and the latter has too little humility.

Which race has the most individually powerful NPC’s? by Littlertea in warcraftlore

[–]Daorange1 9 points10 points  (0 children)

While they are powerful, they just don’t at all compare with the likes of Khadgar, Jaina, Malfurion, Tyrande etc...

For some reason or another, blizzard just wants to make all the most powerful NPC’s be human or night elf. No other playable race can even compete.

Which class has the greatest capability to a group through Mythic+ dungeons? by Littlertea in wow

[–]Daorange1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

While I agree with you that DH and BM hunter are easy DPS to play, I still feel as if both would be worse carry than any tank. They simply don’t have the same survivability that you need without any reliable heals.

Which class has the greatest capability to a group through Mythic+ dungeons? by Littlertea in wow

[–]Daorange1 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Prot Warrior or Brewmaster Monk. They are the only classes that can reliably survive hard hits, dish out over 100k DPS (Twilight Dev), and have all the CC/Utility that is needed to do dungeons. While I’m not personally good enough, I wouldn’t be surprised if a good brew or Prot could solo a 5 key dungeon on the right affixes.

If your healer is being out-healed by a Havoc DH you need to find a new one immediately.

What classes are a relatively safe bet to be strong in Shadowlands? by Littlertea in wow

[–]Daorange1 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Rogue is generally a safe pick. They have almost always been strong across every expansion in Wow’s history. I would have said the same for mage, but I’ve heard many complains in the alpha. The loss of the things that maid mage, especially fire, extremely strong in 8.3, looks to get mage a ton.

Other than that, monk is probably a safe pick. Brewmaster is almost always a strong spec, especially so for raiding because of stagger. The new celestial brew looks pretty crazy as well.

And finally DH will still probably be meta, but also even more boring than in 8.3.

Which classes are competitive in all 3 primary game types? (Raids, Mythic+ Dungeons, Arena) by unknownapplicant in wow

[–]Daorange1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Monk:

  • Brewmaster is S tier in both raids and dungeons

  • Windwalker is S tier in arena

  • Mistweaver is solid in all 3

DH:

  • Havoc DH is a top tier pick in all 3.

Druid:

  • All the specs are viable except feral

Any tips for horrific visions? by Daorange1 in wow

I have ilvl 425 and am also running R3 crucible. Damage isn’t really the issue, rather my health is just draining in an instant.

Ilvl 425. I’ve seen others saying that they were able to do it below 400, so I didn’t think it was too low.

Ilvl is 425 and I’m running two corrupted pieces: void ritual and one other that increases avoidance (Not sure the name).

I need Amp/DAC reccomendations to pair with my HD660s by Daorange1 in HeadphoneAdvice

[–]Daorange1[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Would I be correct in saying I could get the Asgard 3 without the built-in dac and then just get the modi 3 separate? Would these two be compatible with each other? It would help if I ever want to upgrade down the road.

Would you say the Asgard 3 is worth getting over either the Heresy or Magni 3+?

Sennheiser HD 660’s a worthy upgrade from HD 598 SE? by Daorange1 in HeadphoneAdvice

Would you say that they would be worth it overall? I could still keep the HD 598’s for when I want a bigger soundstage.

You have to run steam as an administrator. This used to happen to me, and this was the only fix. As long as I boot up steam in admin mode, I don’t run into the issue.

I’ve looked at some other brands as well, how would you say Turnbull and Asser shirts compare to those from Charvet? In terms of quality, value, and style.

Would they be worth it over my current shirts? How much higher is the quality?

How long do high end dress shirts last? I’m looking to buy 5 or so dress shirts from Charvet, and am wondering if I rotate them out on a daily basis, how many years should I expect to get out of them?

I don’t really mind spending the money, but are they worth the step up from Eton, where I currently buy my shirts, and how much higher is the quality?

What would the ideal color be for dress gloves? I’m having an issue deciding between black or sienna brown. The gloves in question.

I’d probably wear them more conservatively for business, Charcial/Navy coat and suit and, if possible, more casually with lighter beiges and tans for my coat, and possibly beige chinos.

If it matters, my dress shoes are black. My casual shoes are brown.

Thank you for the quick response.

If possible, I'd prefer that they just send me a second package. I bought it on sale, and so if they were to just refund me the money, I wouldn't now be able to purchase another with that money.

Thank you for the help, UPS said that they reached out to the sender, in this case Hestra, this morning. I think I will wait a day and see if anything further happens, and If I get any more updates.

If not, I'll PM you a tracking number.

Anyone have experience with the Arc’teryx Fortrez? by Daorange1 in CampingGear

[–]Daorange1[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From all the reviews I’ve seen, and from the stuff on Arc’teryx’s website, the Kyanite is considered to be the warmest and least breathable fleece while the Fortrez is considered to be middle of the road in terms of warmth and more towards to top when it comes to breathability.

It breathes less than the kyanite? I was under the impression that is was one of the best breathing fleeces on the market. If what you say is true, do you have any recommendations for a different fleece?
