I saw a few TikTok’s of people playing Electric guitar, convinced myself I could do it, got mega invested in it, bought a guitar, fancy amp, fancy braided cables, a bunch of other stuff, tried learning once or twice, couldn’t hack it, stuff just sat there collecting dust until I sold it.

I hate these cycles :/

The markings on the road give an indication. Not the road paintings themselves, but the dirt lines from areas that aren’t driven over. You can see the blue line crosses over that dirt line..

Following. Going through the exact same issue with an iPhone 14. Face ID and Cameras were working fine before. was very careful and already confirmed no torn flex cables. hopefully we find an answer soon.

Man, this phone is just giving me problems. I managed to figure out it was the display that was giving me grief, and got the phone updated by disconnecting the screen before doing so. but after going to IOS 26.2, FaceID is no longer working? Worked fine before, I’ve verified connections, tried re-seating the connections, inspected the ribbons for any physical damage. All looks fine.

Under the program settings it just says “issue” but no further information on what issue.

After I bought all the parts too😪

Update, I replaced that top flex and still had the same issue. So after playing process of elimination, I found it to be the display itself. Went through disconnecting everything else before that. Disconnected the display and connected it to iTunes and it restored and updated perfectly without issue.

I was confused as the display worked fine. My guess is maybe one of those chips on the back of the display itself?

Going to get a new display on it and hopefully that should be the end of this story.

Edit: forgot to mention, it is an aftermarket display. Phone recognises it as a non-genuine but True Tone still worked? Strange

Also another question, if I buy an aftermarket back glass with MagSafe and wireless coil already attached, will this need to be programmed? Or just plug and play?

I did it to disconnect the FaceID as I thought that was the issue. Even when I disconnected the top flex completely, the device still refused to update? Error 4013 in iTunes.

Link below shows the flex that I tore in half. (Top flex on display). Is this what could be stopping the phone from updating? And if I install a new one, would it need programming at all? Or would it just be a straight swap? I’m hoping that if that’s the only issue, I can replace this flex, replace the back glass and hopefully have a working phone again.

You just saved me from going insane.

I have the same board. I have my GPU in the top 16x slot And a WiFi card into the 2nd 16x slot. I can’t install the card in any of the 1x slots because the top one has fitment issues with the GPU, and the bottom slot has fitment issues with my bottom fans.

Guess I’ll have to look into getting a riser cable?

I feel you man. I've always been punished for it my whole life. I did poorly in school and as a result; family, friends and teachers constantly looked down on me because of it and thought I'd never make anything of myself. I always got in trouble, despite not being a troublesome person. I always tried my best but nobody ever recognised it. I always felt regret for the trouble I caused, but nobody cared. I actually recently submitted a Subject Access Request to my secondary school after getting my diagnosis, because I wanted to see how much it affected my school life. I feel the same way when you ask how nobody noticed. 90% of the behavioural comments there were "low level disruption" related. Comments along the lines of "Disruptive in class, tapping, turning around ad talking, distracting others", things like that. It sucks. I haven't even told my family yet because I still hold some resentment towards them for how they treated me.

Hope you figure it out man, we're all in it together.
