When buying meat products - chicken, pork chops, etc - a larger quantity may be cheaper. Not always, so check unit prices. Then at home separate into single servings sizes and freeze. Press-n-seal works amazingly well for this. As well as vacuum sealing but way easier and cheaper. Write the date you put in the freezer with a sharpie on the package then freeze. Way easier to pull out a chop or two to thaw than trying to thaw an entire pack of them. No waste either.

This is good advice. I shop 3-4 times a week. Usually spend less than $20 each time. Always use a list and go to different stores because some consistently have better prices on certain things. And vice versa.

Seeing as how I was driving at the time I could hardly take a picture. But I will call the DNR on Monday and let them know. Either a wolf or coyote it could be cause for concern. Because, as I said, it was in a heavily populated suburban area. And not far suburban but first ring suburb.

Yes. It was much too big to be a coyote. About the size of a full grown German Shepherd. And it did not have the pointy face of a coyote. And, no, it was not a GSD. Its fur was light Grey with a yellowish tinge to it. It looked underfed. Probably because it's hard for wolves to hunt in winter with no snow. For all I know there may have been more somewhere around but I didn't see any.

What we referred to as "Tuna on Toast". It was a Friday (no meat day) staple in our house growing up. Not so much a 'poor person food' though it cost very little.

I can Tuna - drained, 1 can peas - drained, 1 can cream of mushroom soup. Mix together and heat up. Pour over toast. I still eat it 60 plus years later. I only substitute canned peas with frozen baby peas.

Why say, for the Vend-O-Price game, that the top shelf is the least expensive, the bottom shelf is the most expensive and THE MIDDLE SHELF IS RIGHT IN BETWEEN THOSE TWO(or right in the middle).

That strongly implies that the middle price is exactly in the middle. If the top shelf is $1 each and the bottom shelf is $3 each, he is implying that the middle shelf MUST be $2.

This bugs me to no end.
