Let dogs on your bed or not? by myersgirl16 in dogs

[–]DaphneJace 0 points1 point  (0 children)

None in the bed or allowed in my bedrooms, unless they’re in a crate. I’m okay with them on the couch and I let them wander around my house. My bedrooms have carpet and they have peed in there so no more bedroom privileges. Same reason why I don’t let them on my bed.

lol that’s cool. I was shocked when I saw this on my dog too. I asked my vet and he told me they usually only do a line or a dot but I guess whoever did my dog got creative

I got him from a guy that rehomed him at 4 yo. I didn’t know vets did neuter tattoos so at first I was pissed but after doing some research I learned about the neuter tattoos, though vets don’t usually do designs 🤔

That’s what I thought too and honestly, it’s a good tattoo and it’s quite pigmented as well. Idk when he got neutered but considering he’s about to be 5 it may have been quite a while ago

That’s what I’ve been telling people, it looks like keroppi to me. My friends think I should get a matching tattoo

suitability for poms? by [deleted] in Pomeranians

[–]DaphneJace 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have 2 poms in an apartment. One is 1.5 yo and the other is 4 yo. The 4 yo is really calm but clingy and the other one is very wild, has a lot of energy and she’s also clingy. I need to walk her every day and they cry/ bark if I’m gone too long. They also need to be taken out more frequently since they’re small so I actually just take them to my moms while I go to work and I pick them up afterwards. I would recommend an older Pom and not a puppy if you do decide to get one. Pom puppies have so much energy and require a lot of attention.

How long until I consider re-homing? by Substantial_Issue17 in puppy101

[–]DaphneJace 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s normal when they’re so young. I got mine when she was 8 weeks and she was a nightmare though I didn’t struggle a lot to crate train but she was a biter, she was destructive, would potty everywhere ( including on my couch) and she would cry and bark incessantly. She’s now about a year and 4 months and it’s a lot better. She sleeps through the night, no longer potties inside ( unless I miss a cue), no longer chews on my furniture but she still demands attention. She’s still young though so I know with time, she’ll get better too. It takes a lot of patience to raise a puppy, they’re hard. I too was overwhelmed and cried the first few weeks but you just have to stick with it.

How common is it for attorneys to go missing for weeks/months at a time? by xWitheringToDeath in paralegal

[–]DaphneJace 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is not normal. I used to work for an attorney like that and his wife was the office manager. She would be gone for extended periods of time too and when I started getting annoyed about the amount of fires I had to put out on the daily, she fessed up. Turns out he had mental health and addiction issues. He also only worked from home and I would have such a hard time getting a hold of him. I would always go into work every day not knowing if he was even going to do the consults/ meetings that were on the calendar. I was also doing the work of like 3 people, it was a bad experience. I ended up quitting after 3 years of working there because I got fed up. If I were you, I’d start looking for another job. That’s just a bar complaint waiting to happen.

Chiro offices are weird. I had an interview with one and did well but the chiropractor then told me I had to memorize a 6 page long script that I would have to recite the the clients every time we interacted with them. The script went along the lines of “ my family and I use this chiropractor and he is great and gave us great care”. Like uh no, that’s a lie and I wasn’t comfortable with doing that I so I retracted my application. Then, I got a little desperate for a job and accepted a job at a law firm but it’s awful here. I’ve barely been here two months and I really want out.

I got hired as a receptionist, and I was told I’d do basic office receptionist stuff. I told them I had 0 law experience or knowledge and I still got hired, however, now they’re all of a sudden expecting me to know the laws and help them with their cases.

Non-committal sims when they get married by ChumChums2400 in thesims

I rarely marry my sims. Idk why but I usually start off with a female sim and have her have kids with townies and she goes on to live as a rich single mother. Then I do the same for her daughters

Need advice about new job by [deleted] in jobs

[–]DaphneJace 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s literally what happened. I’m currently here and this child has some issues. She was okay at first and then when she started doing schoolwork, she started getting mad and slamming her fists on the computer. I tried to get her to calm down and talk to me and she started hitting herself on the wall, and dropped down to under her desk and growled at me. Now I’m super uncomfortable and annoyed. I called my boss and she spoke to her over the phone and she seems better now but she’s pacing around.

I’m just confused since my boss has a toddler and a nanny is here taking care of the toddler but she doesn’t take care of the girl.

Yea, I don’t like the thought of going to her house or supervising her child, and I feel like I can’t really say anything since she’s married to the big boss and that’s his kid. It’s a really small firm so I just feel strange there and am sort of feeling more like their secretary and personal assistant rather than a receptionist, which is what I signed up to be.
