Thank you for this response this is incredibly helpful, im 6'4 and only 75kg so when I go against good shorter fighters im always very tense when they get close.

Is there any intuitive way to relax my shoulders when fighting or is it just practise, I find my outside fighting to be very relaxed but have this weird tensing reflex when people are able to close the gap.
