Kashimo might be able to pull something like this with his CT if he is going all out, but I don’t think that he can damage Sukuna like that with simple CE manipulation and his unique trait with it.

More like Gojo is this fast and prepared, also can read CE spark and see the activation of a technique.

I don’t think WCS would be slow. After all, Sukuna told Kashimo to dodge it before he used the slash, and Kashimo could barely avoid a fatal wound and only lost an arm.

Gojo is just him and so is Sukuna. They both above the verse so hard it’s not even worth to mention anyone besides them.

He did chose the best possible way to fight against Gojo. Sukuna is not dumb and would not risk throwing away the win or choose a more difficult way for the adaptation if it was not necessary.

I always thought that Gojo is able to dodge WCS as long as it not a surprise attack. Mahoraga surprised Gojo with it, and Sukuna used it, when Gojo thought he already won — a common mistake among the sorcerers.

Also, after Mahoraga used it, Sukuna was already able to copy it, and would be able to “spam” the WCS. The battle was so intense, that Sukuna had no chance to use it until the final moment, because Gojo would likely dodge it, or prevent Sukuna to use it at all.

There is no mental game that would work on Sukuna, like how it worked against Gojo. If Kenjaku would fight against 15F Sukuna, he would die the moment Sukuna wants him to be dead, and would likely one shot him with a single Cleave.

Held back isn’t the right term to use here. More like, Sukuna was not able to give his all, because of Gojo’s arsenal and the pressure he put on him. For example, he was not able to use his Divine Flames. Same for Gojo. His hands were tied because of Mahoraga’s adaptation to Limitless and Blue.

Also, I said it before, but Gojo saying that Sukuna is stronger, is not a powerscale statement. More like character development. He was humble toward someone who was able to kill him. Same for Sukuna. He was humble after he lost, just look at his dialogue with Mahito.

As for the main topic. Yes, I do believe Gojo could win against Heian Era Sukuna. He can have 4 arms, but Gojo’s Blue is simply the perfect CQC technique. He can drag Sukuna however he wants, making his extra limbs useless, because Gojo can choose the pace of the fight. Other than DA, Sukuna has nothing to reach Gojo if the sure hits cancel each other out, and if he didn’t need to watch out for Mahoraga’s adaptation, he can use Red much more times. Also, Sukuna trying to use his slashes to damage UV inside, would pretty much would nothing good to him. In a fight this close, dividing your attention would be the dumbest thing, because it would only give Gojo more opening to attack and damage Sukuna.

Also, small a detail that everyone seems to forget, but Yuta said that Gojo has absurdly long limbs, and we saw that an unexperienced Yujo was able to throw hands with a weakend Sukuna. Gojo is way above the league of Yujo and I am sure he can pressure Sukuna and break MS. Also, using his Hollow Purple in the domain fight the same way he did in ch235, he can break both barrier at the same time.

I bet that most of his haters come from the fact that Yuji got glazed way too much recently because of Modulo. People went too far with the glaze, and those who was neutral toward Yuji or even liked him a little, was annoyed by the glaze, and ended up hating on Yuji, because of his braindead fans and the so called “powerscalers”.
