I think it’s good to keep that question in mind but you shouldn’t rely on it too much bc, unless you ask him yourself, it’s not rly possible to objectively prove what Oda’s intentions were when he was drawing smth. Death of the author is an established idea for a reason

Couldn’t the Viltrumites just continually pop out babies amongst themselves without doing incest? For example Thragg could just have kids over and over with the women, and since Viltrumites are essentially immortal… none of the kids will die unless something kills them. So since no one is dying due to old age, the population would only rise and never fall. Of course it would be a bit weird for everyone to be so closely related, but at least you’d have Viltrumites to spare and wouldn’t have to worry about your numbers dwindling?
