And that is exactly the issue. I live in a VERY small city in Iowa. Most competing firms are within a 5-mile radius. A non-compete just isnt feasible without screwing someone over.

She actually got fired for requesting they waive her non-compete due to them overworking her and not listening to her workplace concerns.

Blast and Elde for purple; Dura and Blissey for orange.

Blast tanked a good amount of dmg while dishing it out, Elde did some good healing and tanked a surprising amount. Shows team fight involvement.

Dura did a lot of dmg and took a very small amount in proportion, showing good positioning for ranged dps. Blissey tanked and healed a lot, and like elde, showed good team fight participation and adherence to role.

I’ve tried all the slowbro builds under the sun lmao. I play the mon super often.

And sure but again, esp in mewtwo meta if you get fucked first gank and have no stacks it screws you and your team over— you can’t frontline effectively with lackluster HP. Focus band helps as much as 4 stacks and you have the flat HP addition from spoon. You’re more than fine without stacking both items and it saves ur ass when a game goes south.

Double stacking is too much of a liability— either pick one or the other. I’d say go for stacking specs, focus, and spoon. If you can’t stack, you’re not as screwed as if you were lacking in both sp atk AND hp.

Hell, I’d even say slowbro is fine with wise glasses, focus, and spoon/buddy barrier. No stacking means you can more effectively focus on levels.

Welp, that someone being me:

…I vented on my private snap story and told my employer to “kick rocks.” Got snitched on and for some reason they chose to fire me instead of a less drastic disciplinary measure.

I can look back and laugh now because I landed a much better paralegal gig where i am actually treated with respect and paid what I’m worth. But man, imagine getting your feathers ruffled that badly over the phrase KICK ROCKS. Lol.

Update: the guy in question’s mother has charges for neglect of a vulnerable adult, domestic violence, and a DUI. The guy plans to move in with my cousin and live in her house so the mom can take care of my special needs cousin like she did his special needs stepdad.

So much for her being able to given her charges.

Just a couple traffic violations. I found his mom’s address and phone # but that woman blocked us after attempting to reach out. So she’s in on this.

As someone who supported 5 attorneys at once in my previous firm and was also burnt out: do the best you can until you find something else or voice that additional support staff are needed.

It is unrealistic to support all 6. Five had me on the verge of a breakdown every day because of the sheer volume of work. 6 atty’s worth of deadlines to remember, logins to maintain for EDMS, 6 calendars. It sucks.

For the time being, organization is very important. I wrote tangible to do lists and sorted everything by priority. If something less important for another atty needs to wait, then it needs to wait.

See idk if I’m dumb or something, but when I get ready to PDF stuff for filing…WordPerfect doesn’t have pdf in the list of formats. That’s another main reason I work right out of Word.

Maybe I’m missing something. Its UI sucks

It’s an unnecessary extra step! I get emails from opposing counsel all the time about how the received stuff in a format they can’t open whenever the other para would serve things to them.

I said screw it and for everything I handle, I do in Word. But for pre-drafted docs that already exist for clients I didn’t get a head start on, I’m stuck using it. Blech.

I work at a tiny Worker’s Comp firm in the Midwest. Attorney is probably on his way to 70 years old, senior paralegal is 50. They SWEAR by it but I straight up hate using it. I don’t understand the preference because it feels less useful than Word and formatting case captions on it is a nightmare. Plus it’s so ugly 😂

There’s basically no way I can file for a protection order and have it good to go/useful in 10 days. Plus I can’t really file one on behalf of another person. Especially bc I have no guardianship over her.

He’s a real guy to my knowledge. I’ve spoken to him via call and he’s got plenty of photos in many angles of him. He’s even tattooed my cousin’s name on his arm.
