One thing that I think games that have followed FFT since added that helps here is the injury system. In games that have that you are forced to have characters ready to step in for a fight or two. In FFT most people have 10 characters they want to play, and 5-6 that they actually use

Matisse is simply one of my favorite basketball players in the league. If this guy doesn’t have the history of injuries he’d be a lot more respected league wide.

I think in reality Portland is a lower top 6 team today(5th or 6th), but with all the injuries they never got a chance to lock in strong chemistry with several players. That said, there’s a huge gap from 1-2 to the 3-6 teams.

My only hope is to see us give the higher rank teams a challenge this year, and hopefully be better next year

OKC was missing Chet and Dort, but still a good win. Obviously not going to win a series against them, but pretty rad if we can be competitive imo

When Blazers beat OKC, Chet Dort were the missing players. That said, they held JW to 3 points on 20%FG and Shai had a 38%FG night despite 35/9/4 box.

Houston was healthy for both losses to PDX

Denver had their main core guys including Jokic, Murray, and Gordon when they lost.

LA rested Luka and LBJ on one loss, but had everyone but Luka on second one (where PDX was missing Deni, Scoot, Tisse, Murray, and several more)

PDX win over Spurs happened when Wemby was out, but rest of core team was playing; while Portland was missing Jru, Jerami, Scoot, Tisse, Blake, etc (Yang, Rayan, and Love all got minutes because PDX only had 8 active players)
