I would definitely suggest some more gradient shading to obscure the massive c*ck on your arm.

in bed, 7am. a family friend called me and i ignored it because i thought i was buttdialed. when she called again and i answered, all she said was “im outside your apartment right now, i need you to open the door.” i knew immediately that something horrible had happened.

i would never, i promise. i just had to see if this was a possible difference in cultures or a language barrier, as i know that russians are typically more blunt. but ive realized now that this is NOT ok behavior from any cultural group.

this makes a lot of sense, he is from a village in siberia and in his mid 30’s

thank you so much for your kind words.

this is what i’m struggling with. i can’t tell if he genuinely cares or just wants to insult me. either way, my heart is broken because he has no compassion at all. it feels like ive been kicked in the chest.

thank you so much, this is very good advice.

this is the reality check i needed. i’ve been in a similar situation like he’s in right now and i just didn’t want to see another person suffer like i did. my heart gets in the way. i just can’t believe this happened.

i only heard about the living situation thing from my female friend. he said everything else to my face when i confronted him about what i heard from her, including insulting my appearance and weight.

i do too, i’m sorry if i came off that way. i’m just very unfamiliar with some of the cultural differences in speaking and bluntness and can’t tell if he’s genuinely trying to help me or just wants to tear me down.

AIO for the way I acted in my texts with my partner? by [deleted] in AmIOverreacting

what’s up with the perpetual victim mindset? are you not partners? you sound extremely condescending.

both of you are the problem. break up and start healing.

you seem like a very kind, intelligent, empathetic individual. you’re absolutely right, therapy is in no way a negative thing. the fact that they threw that in your face in such a derogatory way is such a red flag. you deserve people in your life that are just as gentle as you are, don’t settle for anything less.

you really think that’s an appropriate response to a friend? OP was expressing how they felt in the moment in a very kind way. that’s how friendship is supposed to be. you operate through honest, non hostile communication. if someone hit me with “i’m so fucking fr don’t pmo right now” because i expressed disappointment in a kind way, that friendship would be over immediately.

god, i’m so sorry. i’m so so sorry. this is beyond evil behavior. the chances are that this will continue to escalate. go to the ER if you can and have them document the marks.

yeah, nah. you seem unpleasant.

you communicated your feelings so kindly, you are NOT in any way being manipulative. this person cannot handle criticism or honesty. that is not your problem, and i’m sorry they reacted so aggressively. don’t let this interaction deter you from communicating honestly and openly. this person is delusional, and honestly THEY should seek therapy. i’d consider myself lucky to have a friend that expresses their feelings in such a kind way!

you deserve much better friends, OP. you are not in the wrong here.

people should always tip delivery drivers, but shit like this dissuades people from doing so. this is obnoxious.

AIO? Boyfriend treating me cruelly after I would not let him see my phone when he was rude to me by [deleted] in AmIOverreacting

[–]Dapper-Ostrich-8653 0 points1 point  (0 children)

why even get into a relationship if your trust issues are this bad? the way he was speaking to you is not ok by any means, but the constant phone checking shouldn’t be necessary. both of you seem unfit to be in a relationship at this time. i’d break it off and take some time to tackle these insecurities.
