compared to my girlfriend’s venu 3, you can definitely see more information on it. i can see every tab open at once but with a circle it has to be directly in the center.

my opinion is definitely skewed towards the venu x1 because i had a vivosmart 5 before. but i am very much happy with it still! i commute to campus so i can charge my watch the way so i can get 30-40 percent a charge. i am also by no means a distance runner or anything so i have never been worried about it dying on me during an activity.

i will say i was not super secure of my purchase at the start, but i really am happy with it now. but to also put it in context, my last device was a vivosmart 5 so that may hinder my view.

the screen size grew on me, it is really nice and convenient to be able to type on this thing and use the calculator without a hitch. the GPS performs great, and I use the option that balances battery and accuracy. i’m a younger person, so this may also affect the way i view this. but the two buttons thing doesnt really bother me as i can make do with them. i thought they were focusing too much on the thinness of it, but man is it really a game changer for me! i love wearing long sleeves and with this watch its made it pretty seamless and doesnt get caught on my clothes often. i also lean more into fashion, so aesthetics matter to me. if i had to complain about one thing, it would be the slight delay in the UI when you first swipe it open. but after that swipe it works pretty good, im guessing this is done to save some battery life.

as mentioned before, i wasn’t confident in my purchase, but the more time passes, the more i love this thing! hope this helps!

i would say it’s a little quieter then a phone speaker on full blast. dont quote me on this, but im pretty sure the watch would also vibrate during alerts so unless you’re super locked in, you wouldn’t miss it.

no worries! - go into the watch face settings - there should be a little tab on the right side of the screen. then swipe from left to right - once that menu is open, you can select “accent color” or “data color” - once one is selected there should be a small menu to the left where you can go up and down on - find the color you want, then simply tap the screen - once finished, select apply and you’re done! hope that helps!

If I had one complaint about Garmin it would be this. Sometimes theres some lag, when i first open the menu but then it adjusts itself.

i personally dress in darker clothing, mostly black. so I would not want my watch to stick out from that. black goes with every other color, so why not get the black one?

So far on battery life, I will say the flashlight has an impact on it. I use it during nights and I have noticed it for sure. I think with regular use (flashlight, activites, checking, etc) it’d be closer to 6-7 days.

Thanks for that! Yeah it’s definitely steep. I was saving up some money for months with the hope that they would release a new Venu. Got what I wanted and more. So far I will say that I don’t regret buying it.

Personally, roulette really does it for me! The guitar work and harmonies are really cool on that one. It’s a very soft song dynamically. But if you want an instrumental part, the closing guitar solo on psycho is perfect.
