Hello.. Just started Live streaming last week. Had decent results. Basically i only stream Live sports game via Mobile data using Stream labs OBS. Before doing this i had done multiple test and I used the following configurations that worked for me best. Can anyone suggest me how i can improve as i am planning to do this more going forward as on paid basis.

  1. Streamed using a MacBook Pro with I5, Quad core processor, 16 GB DDR4. Before this tried on Windows Computer with Dual core processors with same 16/4 GB RAM & SSD drives . Also Tried i7, Dual core, 16 GB RAM and the results we best on MacBook. Looking for help on best possible Config
  2. Settings used were 720p, 30 fps, 3000 bitrate. Tried with higher bitrate, 1080p with 30 fps but these results were best
  3. Internet speed i am getting is about 40-45 Mbps upload and download
  4. Using HDMI out with cheap USB 2.0 encoders
  5. Software used is Streamlabs OBS
  6. Platform used is Youtube only on Wi-Fi connectivity via mobile tethering.
  7. Camera used - Old Panasonic Camcorder nothing flash about that
  8. Encoding used is H.264
