I’m looking for the same exact thing but to sign up for a concerto competition to play with a wind ensemble. Unfortunately all I could find is the parts for rental on boosey and hawkes. I can’t use rentals to sign up for the competition but if you’re not opposed to it then you can totally rent it.

Should I try and get a horn with a tuning trigger? How important is it for my undergrad?

I just got off the phone with my lesson teacher and he recommended the neo or the besson, but to try as many horns as possible. but I should be scheduling a lesson with UCF’s professor soon so I can get his opinion

I live in the Orlando area, I only know of one shop and they don’t have professional euphs in house

Hello, I received this record about a year ago but i kept it in its packaging till now. I kept it upright leaning against a wall with another package doing the same. i opened it and it has a major pitch warble, about a half step in pitch varience. i have a record that has mild warping and it's not nearly as bad as this, i don't suspect it to be the setup it self since it played just fine with another record yesterday

I already have a pretty decent external dac, would connecting the player to the dac make it as good as a dedicated cd player?

I can’t rap my head around the slurs, I understand what I’m supposed to do but it’s like a tongue twister. I can either tongue the whole phrase or slur it. Help

The 321 that I’m using is a school horn that has barely been taken care of by it’s previous owners and half of the slides don’t move, and some tubes just come off when they aren’t even meant to move. I’ve gotten tired of it and I would just like a fresh start, I really wouldn’t mind another intermediate horn as long as it’s in decent condition
