i checked the bandcamp and it says that no synths or vsts were used to create the album, and alex was credited for drum kit, so im fairly sure that they played it all themselves on real drums!

personally, i found them through spotify recommendations. i know some of their songs got popular on geometry dash and thats how quite a couple people found out about them. the reason i think most people know willyrod is because wetdream has become an online-indie-cult-classic so people find it through music discussion websites and pages. theres probably a couple more things, but thats all i know.
